Due to their inspection of our house they remedied a very dangerous situation in our home's electrical wiring that could have led to severe consequences. These guys are very professional and do quality work. Would highly recommend.

Called Mr. Sparky to have work done on my house in May. The ""electrician"" came out and told my wife (I was at work) that it would be over 1600 dollars worth of work how we had fire hazards and all sorts of other stuff so he could finance me a deal. Having just bought the house in March and having it pass all inspections I declined most of their work. The ""electrician"" fraudulently billed my credit card 300 dollars and even forged my wife's signature. I then had to get somebody else to come fix the ""work"" that this clown did. Bank was notified of the forgery and everything else. After about a month a manager and lots of complaining a manager reached out and tried to make things right. Mr Sparky even went on to blackmail and said they would refund our money if we tgok the review down. Mr Saprky tries to take down all bad reviews. BUYER BEWARE

Charged $35 to come, look at panel, then proceed to quote ""roughly"" $600 just to do a diagnostic that could cost up to $6k or more to repair along with hourrrrrrrs of work.
Had job done (correctly)by another licensed electrician for $300.00
Shame on Sparky and all the Ryans they have working (upselling) for them.

My wife contacted this Company and they did come out the same day and fixed the issue. As I was out of town, I received an e-receipt where the price was totally out of line, based on some inquiries that I made. When I attempted to call the person answering the call said that he was going to have a manager call me. This is day 2 and no call back.
My recommendation is to avoid.

I had a GFCI that just would not reset. I found Mr. Sparky on Yelp and it had great reviews. I requested an appointment online and within minutes I received a call from their appointment scheduler. Keep in mind this was around eight or nine at night. The dispatcher called to let me know the next morning that the technician was 40 minutes out. The technician arrived on time. She was very courteous and professional. She took the time to explain everything to me. She found the problem and resolved it quickly. A very thorough safety inspection was done on the house. She wrote up all the recommendations and even gave me three different options with respective prices. Whenever dealing with anything electrical you already know it's going to be expensive. That being said with the level of service that Mr. Sparky and the technician Nina provided I had no problem or hesitation paying for services rendered. Hopefully I won't need to use them in the future because nobody like shelling out money for unbudgeted expenses. But if I do have an electrical problem I know who I will call, Mr. Sparky.

This morning my dishwasher zapped me, so I googled an electrician, and came across Mr Sparky. William came out the same day and was able to troubleshoot my problem. It was way more expensive than I thought, but I have an old house and needed to have a ground wire put in and ground my breaker box. William is probably the most passionate electrician I've encountered. You can tell he's dedicated to his job. I felt like he was knowledgable and trustworthy.

I used Mister Sparky when several lights went out during a storm. They have flexible evening hours which is nice, showed up within the promised window and were very professional. They fixed my issue and only charged the $35 call out fee since it was so minor. They gave some suggestions on what else may need to be done if this problem happens again. I was very pleased with the service.

Don't bother calling Mr. Sparky if you have more than 1 house - they won't do work on it. I honestly don't know why it matters. I've never heard of anyone turning down work for this reason in my 30 years in the real estate business.

I recently bought a new home and the inspector identified a number of electrical issues. Using the Fort Bend County book of best businesses, and having a positive report from a neighbor, I called Mr. Sparky. The young man who came over was very thorough and seemed quite knowledgable, and I mistakenly accepted his bid of $16,000 for all the work, which included two new breaker panels and AFCI switches. Three men worked over the course of three days, and I was shocked at the end to learn that the estimate did not include AFCI switches, which we had talked about extensively. Moreover, they identified eight zones that tripped on AFCI switches. (How they knew this without actually installing the switches is beyond me.) To install all those switches plus replace every fixture plate in the house (to correct the tripping problem, so they said) would cost another $10,000. I was livid. I called Universal, who installed all the AFCI switches for $2,600 and found NOT ONE of them tripped. What's more, the breaker panel installed by Mr. Sparky would have cost half as much through Universal and been a higher grade. Let me explain this about Mr. Sparky which I later learned -- Mr. Sparky electricians WORK ON COMMISSION. Need I say more? I now know why the Mr.Sparky electricians kept trying to sell me more things while they were working on my job. I would also add that they did a messy job of putting foam around some exterior pipes, and they walked around my house in their dirty shoes (dirty, because they kept walking from outside to inside without once using booties). They also left the wallboard a mess when they installed the breaker boxes. In closing, Mr. Sparky's electrician lied to me numerous times about the job, he vastly overcharged me, and I feel like an idiot for not getting a second bid in the first place.
I am editing this review because the owner reached out to me and assured me this is not the way he runs his business. He promises to get to the bottom of my problems. When asked what would make me happy now, I told him that I would like new breaker boxes because the ones they installed are very difficult to close (they must be slammed to do so), and I would like the foam problem corrected. He scheduled someone to come out to do both. He is genuinely upset over what happened with my job, and I am pretty sure he will take steps to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to someone else.

This experience is a good reminder to not just pick the first company that comes up on a Google search. I called and quizzed the person answering the phone about the cost. To be fair, she was very up front about the $35 fee to come look at the issue and noted it would be waived if I selected them to do the work. The technician showed up very promptly and was very well dressed and polite. The issue with Mister Sparky is their per item pricing structure. $115 per outlet. The job would have taken about 30 minutes to complete and would have cost $345. Lots of people would like to make $690 per hour, but a simple light fixture repair does not warrant that kind of expense.
Again, very prompt and up front about the visit, but I would have very much appreciated had they told me about their pricing structure. Their employee could have avoided the wasted trip and I would have saved $35. I understand disclosure of pricing is difficult but having asked specifically about hourly or per job pricing and not getting a direct answer should have tipped me off to not having them come out.
