I called Mr. Sparky after being directed to them by an internet search.
We set an appointment for them to come and give a price for the work.
Had the price been reasonable we would have had the work done right then.
They never showed up for the pricing or the work. They did not call to modify the appointment. They did nothing.
I would give them zero stars but the minimum is one.

expensive, expensive and expensive.
overprices not worth using this company for small electeical jobs.
1 1/2 hour of work and they charged my elederly parents $1064.00.to install 4 dimmer /switches and 2 exterior motion sensor lights......ridiculous.....
especially when they probably pay there electricians $22hr-40hr

i would not recommend using this company. look around do your homework beforehand.

I was quoted $19 per fan, yet when they get here it was all of a sudden $1700 for 5 fans!! They called and rescheduled after I had already taken off work, then had to call in a second day and still didn't not get my fans installed. Once I complained they offered it for $900, but I was quoted for $100! Technicians were friendly, but I cannot believe how unprofessional this whole ordeal was. I would NEVER recommend this company.

Mr.Sparky of Hoover is AMAZING Chad & Justin came to my house to make a comprehensive safe plan for my home.I needed electrical redone from a previous electrical company that was not done correctly or up to code. I was informed on every step from pulling city permits to having the city inspector come .Sometimes people forget The craftsmanship, education,and integrity of an electrician can really mean the safety of your family.

I have been waiting 3 weeks for a piece of machinery to be wired in my warehouse. First they came out to do the work but realized THEY had ordered the wrong part. Now they keep scheduling times to do the work but never show up. This place is ridiculous.

I needed an outlet added on my porch. They selected to place the hole near pipes so now I have an outlet that is on the wall instead of in it, which is exactly what I did not want. I was already not happy with the 700 charge that I agreed to before the job started (since they were here). Go with a small independent next time.

I contacted several electrical companies to correct problems in my home. Mister Sparky stood out from the other competitors based on our telephone conversation and the answers to my questions about the issues I was experiencing. I was offered a free inspection to determine what exactly the problems were. They offered to provide a copy of their business license and proof of insurance - this was assurance I wanted.
The following day, Brandon (electrician) and Jamarcus (assistant) came to my house (Pelham, AL) and conducted a free evaluation of my electrical system, which took several hours to complete. I admired them going under the house in 105 Degree heat.
Brandon and Jamarcus identified the problems with the electrical system. Brandon clearly defined what work was needed and what the results would correct. Several issues were deemed severe and needed immediate attention. Other items could have waited. His proficient knowledge and experience detected Brandon's 17 years of being a certified electrician. Brandon explained my problems in very easy to understand language and showed me where the problems existed. Brandon and Jamarcus's demeanor, attentiveness, and attention to detail were impressive.
Brandon ensured me that all work was guaranteed. I was to contact Mister Sparky and ask for Brandon if any problems arose after the job was completed. My wife and I chose Mister Sparky of Birmingham based on the free written quotation for the work, total breakdown of cost, and the financial options payment plans offered to make the repairs affordable,
I selected Mr. Sparky first and foremost on Brandon's interaction with my wife and me. Brandon came across as a caring professional. Jamarcus was also instrumental in being detailed and focused on getting the job done correctly.
I wrote this lengthy response to assist readers in learning what kind of positive experience I had based on the examples provided.
