Stay away from this person if possible. I called him to diagnose a whirlpool tub electronic failure. First thing he did was opened up 2 unrelated faucets and created a massive leak. He then tried to fix the leak by trying to make rubber gaskets he had with him. He does not have the basic idea that you cannot create a proper seal with hand cut rubber gaskets. I had to stay without water for 2 full days. He promised to come first thing the next day and fix the leak, but kept lying and ended up coming the next day late evening even though he knew I was without water for 2 days.
He never fixed the original problem he had come to fix. He convinced me into paying him $460 for a problem that he created himself. He has stopped responding to my calls/messages now and the original problem is still not fixed.
Please stay away from him if you can.

Mike has the qualities of an olden day repair person. He is genuinely personable, interested in the mechanics of a problem and confident in his ablility to resolve issues involved.
He repaired a massage chair that had been broken for many years and had seen many chair repair specialists. The last specialist said that he wasn't going to start a business manufacturing parts for old panasonic chairs. Mike was able to fashion a workable part that is no longer produced by Panasonic.
I'd recommend him, but if I do the next time I call him I'll have a long wait. His business is new and he came out the morning I called. He is going to be very successful and very busy. His charge for an estimate was ridiculously low 35$ and subtracted from any work cost.
