My call to Mike Diamond Plumbing was regarding a sewer smell in my home. An appointment was scheduled for the next day between 9am and 1pm.

Shawon 2404 was on time and did a brief in home inspection before going under our home to investigate further. During this time Lance, his supervisor joined him.

After his investigation, which he did take pictures, he explained the problem and the cause. Since the home is 50 years old the galvanized pipe and cast iron as well have deteriorated.

Next Shawon and Lance prepared and estimate. The estimate amount was a surprise but it was to redo all the sewer plumbing under the home.

The work began that day with an estimate of completion being 5 days. Shawon had another person, David come to help him and both were very professional and worked well with us.

The job was completed in 3 days with the inspection scheduled for a later date.

I am highly satisfied with the work, how professional and cooperative the individuals performed this job.

I have used and would recommended Mike Diamond Plumbing for and job you need done.

I used their web site to schedule an appointment for standing water in my kitchen sink. They called me back within 20 minutes to schedule the appointment.
I was first on their list on a Saturday, Jerold was friendly, clean and efficient. He was done within an hour.
This Culver City plumber was really good and reasonably priced for the drain problem I had.

Sounds like I am just one of many unhappy potential clients. They have nice fake five star ratings for their website, but yelp tells the truth. All I needed was a water heater changed that sells for $700 at Home Depot. The nice smelling technician and brand new truck showed up to my door and quoted me $3000. I could not believe it! Sure they offer niceties like warranty and permitting, but $2,300 extra for that. No thanks!

This was my first time, as a fairly new homeowner, needing a plumbing service. The appointment was made quickly. And although they were running a little behind, everything was still taken care of within a 3 hour time frame from the moment I called them. I was very satisfied with that! They fixed the clogged sinks I had that my husband was not able to fix. And also went under my house to inspect any other possible problems at no extra cost, and showed me pictures of the problems they found, which I appreciated! They wrote up a few estimates of some work I will need done on the pipes of my home, which I definitely expected due to my home being a 65 year old home! I will definitely be going back to Mike Diamond plumbing for those future updates/repairs based off of the ease of the appointment I had with Jesus and Jose today.

I made an appointment with Mike Diamond. They sent me 2 plumbers from George Brazil, their ""sister company"". Bate and switch? The technician was load, obnoxious, arrogant and pushy. I felt bullied into letting them do the work. They charged me $1,000.00 to replace a kitchen faucet. That was more than twice the price I've paid in the past. I deeply regret doing business with them and will never make that mistake again. Mike Diamond/George Brazil stinks.

I've used Mike Diamond Services for over ten years now in two different homes and I've never been disappointed by their professionalism or their quality of work. My latest call to deal with both a plumbing and an A/C issue was dealt with by Luis, who showed up on time and ready to work. After a careful analysis of my problems he came up with several workable solutions and let me choose how to proceed. Luis was always clear about pricing and never attempted to upsell me on services I didn't need. He worked efficiently and within a few hours everything was back to normal. Also worth mentioning is the fact that he was most respectful of my home and my belongings, making sure that everything was clean and returned to normal before he left. While my service call wasn't inexpensive I've never believed that cutting corners was wise when it comes to plumbing or A/C issues. I consider my money well spent and am confident that my issues were resolved correctly. Mike Diamond Services has been, is, and will continue to be my go-to plumber and A/C service provider.

Never again. Their telephone greeting should be changed from ""How can i make you smile today?"" to How can I gouge you today? Over $3800 to replace a hot water heater. When I complained about the price, Lane, the supposed field supervisor, just happened to be there. He gave a 10% discount but then said the tech, Eric, missed some code requirements so, the new price with the new code requirements was almost $4200. . They were not on time. It was originally for Friday morning, and after several calls, and then finally receiving a call back that the other job was running late, they would not be able to get it done that day so I could cancel. I ended rescheduling for the first thing Saturday morning, and when I called, Bruce, said he knew nothing about being the first call or that the call was rescheduled. He said about 10:30, but it was after 11:00. Lane supposedly needed to call someone else, and asked to be left alone. I saw them sitting on the back of the truck. Not on the phone. They had to run and get the hot water heater (yet I was told they carry them on the truck) so they had to go back to North Hollywood. It was after 3:00 when he came back with the hot water heater. He did not finish until 6:00. The pan he installed is off the platform by 4 inches - The platform is big enough for the pan. That means the hot water heater is off the platform by over a inch. This means he shifted things so the garage door into the house does not open well. Expensive crappy job. Next time you hear a Mike Diamond commercial - turn it off.
