Somethings to point out:

1). I too needed an invoice for work that was done. Old Republic does not require invoices from the companies they contract through. They themselves do not provide any sort of invoice or receipt.

2). Home warranty companies will replace your items with something cheaper, this is always the case. I had a decent kitchen faucet that had to be replaced. The warranty company could only provide something generic and cheap so I bought a new faucet and installed it myself with their payout. It's not

Miguel replaced a ceiling fan for us thru American home shield, he did a good job of installing the fan itself,but failed in backing up his work. He never furnished me with a receipt for the fan or the job,he said that he was not required to. also the fan he put in was not even close in quality to the one he took out.
Well the new fan started to make loud humming noises so I called him for a receipt so that it could be exchanged for a new one. He stated that he did not have one and for me to contact
American Home Shield. I called them and I was told that all they received was a billing stating his labor and what he paid for the fan.I don't know what he is trying to hide,I have called numerous times and he will not get back to me. Something is not right about this whole situation over a simple fix of getting me a receipt. Steve G.
