I highly recommend Michael for all things electrical. He replied to my Yelp submission with 24 hours. Gave me one of the best quotes. I had my own hardware and requested he lower his price and he did it without hesitation. Showed up at my house sharp at 9am and ready for the project. The request was for a doorbell transformer to be replaced and a number junction box to be installed to the front of the garage door. He installed the transformer in less than 10min. He add the new line for the junction box and installed the floodlights in less than 45min. I even was able to ask him questions about other electrical topics and he was super helpful and patient with all my questions. I would recommend his service to anyone! I hired Michael w/ Mighty Electric for a fairly standard job - installing two wall lights, and adding an outlet + cable bypass for a future TV wall mount. Out of all the electricians I contacted for estimates on Yelp, he stood out with his prompt detailed responses over email, and his straight-forward competitive prices - he charged a flat rate for each part of the project, all materials/taxes included (no need to calculate labor hours or materials separately). He also did not try to upsell me on gadgets that I did not need, unlike other electricians.

I booked him for his next available appointment, which was about a week out. Michael showed up right on time, and had all the tools & materials ready in his van. He was a good sport with my wife and I in figuring out exactly where to put the wall lights (we didn't have the TV yet so we held up a piece of cardboard to figure out the wall layout). Once we knew where we wanted the lights & outlets to go, he did all the rest in an efficient, thoughtful manner (if you check my pics you can see how he used tape to mark wall cuts and stud locations to minimize post-install wall repairs). After all the electrical work was done and verified, he quickly patched the notches in the wall he cut with quick-drying hot mud and matched the wall texture too, all I had to do after was to do a quick roll of wall paint to get the wall back to perfect condition.

Michael was very polite, professional, and helpful while on the job. If I remember our conversation correctly, he's been an electrician for ~10 years, but only recently had enough saved to start branching out independently (you really need a van & tools to be an effective independent electrician), so even though his company is fairly new you can rest assured that you're getting experienced quality electrical work done.

Work was done quickly and effectively, but without sacrificing any quality. Final payment was done on the spot, and for the exact amount that he estimated - no surprises! Very happy with Mighty Electric and would certainly recommend to others (and will likely hire again for other home renovations).

I have hesitated on installing ceiling fans on the first floor based on contractors who told me that they'd have to cut large pieces or long lines of dry wall to snake power on the first floor with no crawl space. Today, I finally did it. Had these guys install four ceiling fans- 3 with no power source, one with, and all on the first floor with no crawl space. These guys also added an outlet on the exterior wall and installed 12 LED recess lights. These guys were great and I'm so glad I found them. They are highly recommended! They were quick and easy to work with and even vacuumed after themselves. They will definitely be back as I think of more projects!

Michael came when I lost power in one of my rooms. I had attempted the easy fix options and failed. It was definitely beyond my ability. He gave me a competitive and definitive bid. When he came, he was remarkably polite and quickly identified the problem. He took extra steps to prevent the problem from occurring again and fixed the problem. Final bill = specific number he had quoted (even though there was extra work done). Liked it so much that had him come back to do some additional, non critical work. This time my wife hosted him while the work was done. She indicated this was one of the first teams that she was comfortable with in our house. Handled the covid issues and were always polite and clear. Said they can come back any time.
