I needed to have a new bathroom vent installed. Hugo showed up on time and did an excellent job of installing the new vent. It looks perfect and works great. Hugo left my bathroom without an extra spot of dust! I strongly recommend Mid City's Electric for any future projects. I will definitely hire them again if the need arises.

Mid City's just completed a week long job at my mom's. We were extremely impressed with their work and their professionalism. We will definitely recommend them.

I am totally satisfied with Mid City's Electric.
Last year, we called Mid City's Electric to help us find a fault in our 71-year-old home wiring. One of our circuits was intermittent and I couldn't find the cause. The most pressing problem was our garage door opener was on that circuit and my wife couldn't open the garage when the power was out. Mid City's came out right away and found a loose connection that we thought was the problem. Two days later, the problem reappeared, and we called them again. They came back out and after additional checking, they found the actual problem and fixed it. We have not had a problem again. They didn't charge us for the second visit. They could have.
Because our house is so old and we have had two additions to the original structure, we wanted to replace the original electrical panel with one that is up to date and can accommodate an electric vehicle. We again used Mid City's. Their bid was similar to others for the same work and we already trusted them. Mid City's removed the old panel (there were two actually) and replaced everything with a new panel that had room for expansion. They cleaned up all the old wiring, brought everything up to code and repaired the wall. Everything was done on time and with good communication. They were friendly and professional. They also cleaned up each day and did not leave a mess.
I recommend Mid City's Electric without reservation.

I called Mid City to book an appointment for my electrical needs and although I am only 5 miles away from them, they gave the excuse that I am ""out of their area"". I know that I am not out of their area since they come and solve electrical problems at my place of business which is farther away than 5 miles. One last thing, a good business will post both favorable and NON favorable reviews. . .no one gets a perfect score!!

I found this company is on my kids year book ad, I give it a try. After I call they came so fast and did a amazing job. My sub panel side house was out of electric and we though that is the problem. They are so patient and so knowledge to find out the real problem. It wasn't the sub panel breaker problem . They fixed the problem and very good price. I am very recommend if you need a really good electric guy, try them .

Eric and his crew are experts in their field. They installed recessed lighting, ceiling fan from scratch and installed an electrical outlet in a wall. They were always on time, sometimes a few minutes early. They worked neatly and efficiently during some of our hottest days. Left the place neat and clean afterwards.
Well worth the money.

Needed our inside electrical panel replaced. Eric came out replaced it, fairly charged us and we have not had any issues since. Great person, friendly, and did the work in a short period of time.

I have used Mid City's Electric for a several years now for our Property Management, HOA's and private homes and they are always prompt, detailed, clean and professional. Thank you for a job well done.

I was having problems with a ceiling fan, whole house fan and attic light that wouldn't work. A contractor friend of the family suggested Eric at Mid City's Electric as someone who could help. An appointment was set and Eric came to our home. In about a half an hour Eric diagnosed the problem and everything was fixed. I was amazed that he went into our attic and looked around. He then came down into our master closet, walked through our master bedroom and went to a light switch on the wall outside the master. He pointed at the light switch and said ""There's where the problem is"". I don't know anything about electrical but I thought he was crazy. That switch was close to the ceiling fan but a ways away from the attic and the whole house fan. I thought there was no way the problem could have been there. He did some work on the wiring of the switch and told me to turn on the ceiling fan. It worked!, as did the whole house fan and the light in the attic. He explained to me how he had come to this conclusion and I told him I was impressed. He changed out a gfi and did some work on an outside light. Everything was done very professionally and Eric had no problem explaining what he was doing. If you have a need for electrical work Mid City's is where you should start looking and look no further. I know I have found an electrician who can help me and not try to sell me something I don't need.
