I finally found a good, reputable electrician. I want to thank all involved, John and his wife and the onsite workers, especially Dustin and Kenan (sorry for sp..). Both arrived everyday, at the time they said and clearly explained all work to be done. I had a laundry list of electrical things to do around my house and took many estimates and calls - installed two new dedicated circuits in kitchen and bedroom3, changed all outlets/switches, fixed workbench powerstrip, fixed outdoor outlet, installed security cameras - front yard and back yard, and labeled power panel for house breakers..Tucker's estimate came in fair, made sense, and easily scheduled.

Tucker did everything, from initial estimate to work completion, spot on...no issues at all. If you need electrical work, just stop here and call.

i'm actually looking for electrical jobs around my house ..but dang if I can't think of any ..:)

Great value altogether. I found about Tucker & Michels Electrical via Yelp, and after seeing many good reviews I decided to message them for a quote. Since the beginning I got very timely and cordial responses to my inquiries from Shannah, and got a very competitive quote for the installation of 3 ceiling fans, 5 pendant lights and 2 chandeliers. I decided to go with them for my lighting work, and while they mentioned they don't usually work weekends, they made accommodations for my installations to happen on a Saturday to better fit my schedule.

During the day of the installation I had Dustin and Kian come to my place. They were both very cordial and professional, they took their time to do the installations and explained to me the details and some options I had with the ceilings I wanted installed. They even went ahead and changed some wiring for dimmer switches I had originally, so they would work fine with the products they were installing. The overall work is great quality, and they also took the time to clean after the installation and take all boxes/styrofoam with them so I wouldn't have to deal with it.

What a great business. Really nice guys. John and Dustin did an amazing job on all my retrofit lights. The replaced over 20 lights and did it with a grateful attitude.
They were also very friendly and neat.
I'd definitely hire them again.

I had a minor electrical emergency on a weekday around 5pm. I called them and immediately got someone to talk to, they tried to get someone out that day which I appreciated. Instead they were able to come the next morning around 8am. They were prompt, polite and got the job done quickly.

We hired John to come out to put in some canned lighting in our living room along with some ceiling fans throughout our home. Loved his quick and efficient work to where we had him come out AGAIN to install our electrical hook-ups for our new washer/dryer along with some other general stuff that was needed. I have hired many contractors in the past and several electrical contractors. Mr. Michels is one of the most ethical and reputable contractors I have dealt with. His pricing is very fair. He does not take advantage of a situation to over bill. He is one of the most honest and truthful people I have ever hired. In addition, his prior experience clearly is in many aspects of electrical wiring and setup. His knowledge of what can and cannot be done is based on years of experience in many kinds of electrician work. In my house he had to drill through stainless steel studs. He had to drill through reinforced cement blocks. He had all the tools and drill bits needed to accomplish the job in a fast and orderly fashion. He could not find grey wire molding, so he painted some white molding at his house prior to coming to my house. He did all of this in a very modest and sincere manner. He did the work in less time than others had bid, and he only charged for the time which he spent. Mr. Michels deserves more clientele based on his proven performance and reasonable charges.
