I'd definitely recommend giving Micah a call for electrical work. Micah completely handled the electrical work needed for my bathroom and kitchen remodel, and also upgraded all of my garage lighting. All of the work was done to code and was really cleanly set up.

There are several things that make Micah Electric a good choice. 1) Micah is super approachable and happy to talk through what your needs are and also kinda guide you in the right direction. 2) He is good at what he does and thorough. 3) He is punctual and always stuck to the schedule that he calendared for us. 4) He is trustworthy and is a straight shooter.

I had contacted Micah, along with a number of other electricians via Yelp, to fix the wiring in a blown bathroom outlet. I ended up going with him because I found him to be both efficient and friendly on Yelp and over text / e-mail, with a rate in line with other initial estimates. In person he was exactly the same, willing to take the time to answer questions and provide a few assessments, which I really appreciated. The outlet repair would have been a very small job by his standards, but he was diligent and thorough, and the outlet has held up great since then. I'd absolutely reach out to him again in the future for any additional electrical work I might need.

I woke up this morning with all the power out in my apartment. No heat, no lights, no fridge, no stove, NOTHING. It really threw a wrench in my plans for the day.

I called a few electricians off of Yelp and felt like they weren't being 100% straightforward in their approach. I kept searching, found Micah Electric via Yelp.

I called him and he answered right away. He was straightforward about his process, pricing, and the exact timing he could arrive to my place. After our initial call, he asked me to text him some follow up information and pictures, which I did. From there, he was able to ask me more questions to help me quickly diagnose and resolve the issue.

Overall, Micah was super responsive and helpful. He helped me solve my issue within minutes, and his help turned my whole day around! I recommend his services wholeheartedly. Thanks, Micah!

While visiting my parents, I discovered that a series of their lights didn't work. After checking all the breakers it looked like a breaker needed to be replaced. Due to the age of the house, I didn't feel comfortable to replace the breaker myself.

I call Micah Electric to see if they could swing by while I was at my parents house. Since he was booked he gave me the name of an associate he thought might be available. Before letting me go, he asked me to describe the lights that were not working. When I mentioned that one of the lights and plugs was in the bathroom, Micah asked if i had checked the GFI switch. I hadn't - should have. Once I reset the GFI, the lights and plugs worked.

Thank you very much Micah! Instead of just telling me you were not available, you helped we determine what was wrong and how to fix it. You made my day and allowed me to spend my day with my parents instead of finding an electrician!

Appreciate the help. If I still lived in the Bay Area, I would use Micah Electric for all my electrical needs and recommend anyone who lives he to given them a call when needed.

First off Micah was great at getting back to me whenever I reached out.

He texted, called and kept me updated while he was trying to squeeze me into his existing schedule. While he couldn't sneak me in same day, he did get me on his schedule the next day and even called to see if he could come earlier than scheduled.

The work he did was great, digging into an old electrical system that has had some upgrades and advising on what needed to happen to get power back up and what should happen to get up to code.

Finally, when we discovered later that night that one of the old transformers in the house was causing an odor/heat, he was back on site within the hour to resolve the issue!
