Our garage kept tripping our breaker. Last week we were at the door of the garage when the power went out. My husband when you turn the breaker back on and that's when I heard sparks and saw a pop of light. The wiring from the house to the garage was worn. I contacted Micah and he talked us through what to do until he was able to come. When he arrived he disconnected the line and now we are awaiting a quote. Like with all construction now, everyone is super busy. So we await his quote. Looking forward to having him come back.

Absolutely outstanding. I had another electrician who could not figure out what was going on with my lights. I had a feeling it was a dangerous situation as nob and tube were involved and the house was sloppily flipped when I purchased it. Micah took the time and found out the issue on his first visit. He doesn't do a free estimate, but the money is totally worth it. He goes the extra mile and when he found the problem, he fixed it with his awesome team really quickly. Friendly, considerate, professional, reasonable and fast. They rewired half my house and prevented a major fire!. I'm so grateful to them. Can't recommend them enough, especially considering all the lousy contractors that are out there right now.

We knew for years that we needed to bring our electrical panel up to code and when we got an electric car and needed a charging station, we finally couldn't put it off any longer. I'm so glad we hired Micah for the job. The entire panel had to be relocated and in order to meet all of the code requirements, it was a bit of a Rubik's cube operation. Luckily for us, Micah worked tenaciously to find creative solutions, communicated and coordinated with city inspectors and PG&E on our behalf, and ended up making the whole complicated project completely frictionless for us.

His crew was fast, efficient, and kept us informed about what was going on so we could plan around the work. This was so appreciated since they needed to turn off the power and we had 3 people doing work and school from home during COVID.

Micah Electric will be our go-to electrician from now on and we highly recommend him to others!

So I bought a bunch of Lutron Caseta wall switches because I wanted to automate my switches. The Lutron videos and the YouTube videos made it seem like changing out the switches would be simple for a person with no electrical experience, it wasn't.

I called Micah, he changed out 6 switches within an hour. He let me know that the 3 way and 4 way switches needed the Caseta remote. He capped off the wiring for those switches and let me know how to install the remote when I get them. My garage GFCI outlet kept failing and Micah changed that also. Micah did a great job and I'll definitely be recommending him!

I was so impressed with him I also had him come fix some outlets at my elderly mother's house - she can be a tough cookie with strangers doing work on her house, but loved him and made sure to let me know if we have electrical work again we must call Micah :)

I reached out to Micah because I am getting A/C installed at my house, and my HVAC contractor indicated that I needed to find out if my electrical panel was sufficient to add a dedicated circuit for the new air conditioning. Without even coming to my house, Micah asked me to send photos of my electrical panel. He then asked me several questions about whether I have gas or electric dryer, stove, water heater, and furnace, and whether I planned to add an electric car charger or hot tub. He let me know that I would probably be fine with my current electrical panel for adding the A/C. But, he said that I would need to upgrade the panel if I wanted to add any additional electric appliances. I really appreciate his knowledge, honesty, and the fact that he took the time to give me his professional opinion without charging me and even though I have not hired him to do any work. I will certainly hire him if I do need to upgrade my panel in the future or do any other electrical work. Great customer service!
