They arrive early to do a thorough inspection of our fuses and took the time to go through all the outlets which was appreciated. Carlos even went as far as securely fastening a loose outlet in the kitchen- very nice. Overall a nice experience and will definitely recommend them.

This is the second time I called on these guys for two unrelated issues...within 30 mins of calling, they were at my door. They quickly began the work to troubleshoot the issue and kept me informed every step of the way. Before it knew it, problem solved! PROFESSIONAL should be there name. I would recommend them 100% and will most definitely call on them for any future electrical needs!

They are good, responsive, show up on time. They clearly know what they are doing and are very professional.

Yet they are very expensive, so for me they are OK. But comparing quotes for service... well they are a bit above the market. If you can afford them, they are probably some of the best out there... otherwise, look elsewhere.

They do offer 24hr response if needed. DEFINITELY recommend them! Price wasn't too bad, and he was good to let me know what things may cost before he started. Super good guy.

We were in dire need of an electrician after having our power go out. Thank goodness for the reviews on this site. We called. Charlie came out almost immediately, diagnosed the issue, quoted a fair price especially after hours and we had power in no time at all. I hope to have him out again to help with some other electrical projects around the house.

We were DYING when our air conditioner quit working during the sweltering Miami summer. Then, our A/C guy says, it's not the A/C, its the electrical system...you need an electrician.....I consulted my trusty Yelp reviews and found Carlos at Miami Electric Wizards. Within 90 minutes of the call, he had responded, inspected, troubleshot and remedied the problem. He is a friendly, personable guy who shows you what went wrong and tells you what needs to be fixed. The price was what my A/C guy said I should expect to pay. We were SO grateful when that cold air came out of the vent!! I would definitely recommend Miami Electric Wizards to anyone in South Miami-Dade County needing electrical work.

Had an electrical issue in the morning and Charlie and his partner had it all fixed in the early in the evening. Awesome communication in letting me know when he was able to come out and even give me a heads up he was running a little late. Explained what the problem was and even showed me where the exact problem was and tightened anything that might of been loose in the electrical box. Will definitely be using them again for anything electrical I need done in the house.

Having chosen this business based upon their excellent reviews on yelp I feel the need to clear the 5 star expectation.

First of all I called on a Friday, early afternoon, and left a message, got a call back the same day in the afternoon and was told that they would be able to come by on Tuesday to look at the multiple electrical problems and given an estimate.

Andy arrived right on time, quoted us a set fee for a installing a new light fixture in a room without an electrical output as well as fixing an outdoor output that seemed to stop working. And a $65 hourly fee for all other electrical problems.

My cons: He installed the new ceiling electrical and proceeded to fix the outdoor plug, which turned out was working after he moved a few things around. He didn't take that into consideration and still charged the full $280. So, I basically payed that amount for the new wiring installation and to have someone take some screws out of the wall.

Second, he started working by the hour and fixed numerous things, which went pretty smoothly, until he got to the kitchen. Apparently he didn't have a piece he needed to fix it, the ballast, he ran out to pick one up from his ""boss"" it took him an hour. I asked my husband when he left if he was paying him for the time he was gone and he said he never mentioned anything and that he was sure he couldn't possibly be charged for him not having a part, since he was working by the hour he could have come by the next day. (To which I rolled my eyes to and told him he should have made that clear with him before he left, because fixing the kitchen lighting delay wasn't a priority to me) Anyways it took him a total of an hour to come back. And I know it was that long because I timed it (lol) and comes back with the wrong ballast. He has to run out again, and than mentions ""don't worry this isn't coming out of your pocket"" to which I think ""the previous hour it took you to get the wrong ballast does?"" Anyways I told my husband you practically paid this guy $65 to take lunch, did I mention he left around lunchtime??? Lol and ""let's see if it takes him an hour this time""... Sure enough it didn't; he was back in 20, and I know because I timed it lol. He had to come by the next day to finish the job anyways.

The next day wasn't any better.

Third, he came over with the wrong fluorescent and charged my husband for buying the WRONG color. When my husband told him to return he said ""I already opened so I can't."" What?? I wish all businesses were fair because we just don't know how to deal with scum baggy actions like these other than to feel ACKWARD!!

Fourth, and last thing was we didn't pay him 65 dollars for have lunch we payed him $75. Apparently he miss quoted us with their standard hourly fee so he doesn't know why he would have said $65, but that he was deeply sorry, if it meant anything to us, sincerely. Needless to say it didn't.

Saddest part, I had a quote from another electrician to fix all problems at a set price and went with these guys because they were ""cheaper"" in the end they weren't.

He did everything that needed to be done, everything works great but in the end it was a horrible experience, horrible business ethic and customer service.
