At first, I was really hesitant to use Meza Electric because they didn't have many yelp reviews, but I'm glad I took the risk because I've never encountered such a professional and modern take to electrician work. I hired Paul and his crew to install 8 different recessed LED lights in my kitchen and family room. They used the most advanced technology when it came to making sure everything was aligned and squared up. Paul said electrician work is from generations in the family, and that was great because you can learn many mistakes from carrying information down the generations. Additionally, they were clean. Not only did they set up masking so that nothing got dirty or damaged, but they vacuumed when they cut the drywall to prevent more dust. They precisely cut out the drywall so that it could easily be fit back in and covered over again without having to make more work. They cleaned up again after they were finished. Contracts were clear, concise, and options were given. We ended up providing our own lights, and they simply took off the cost, which is very reasonable. We absolutely love our new lights and we can't believe we lived without light for so long. Paul helped us save money by installing more efficient lighting, and we've definitely seen the decrease in the electric bill! They were fast, efficient, and extremely affordable! Couldn't be happier. I'll be hiring them again for my next home improvements, and I recommend that you do so also. You won't be let down.

We needed a Tesla wall charger put in our garage so we went onto the Tesla app and found a list of approved installers. Meza was one of the more reasonably priced options (not the least expensive, but still quite good.) The owner, Paul, answered the phone. He was very patient with all our questions and, once we felt comfortable using his company, he sent us the quote.

He, and his team, arrived on time, did a fantastic job, were very polite, and cleaned up afterward. They made us feel happy with our decision to use them. We received the permit in a timely manner and, yes, he STILL picks up the phone when we call! (Unless he's on a job, of course.)

Didn't end up going with Meza Electric but had a great experience with Martin getting a quote. He provided me with extra information regarding getting the correct EV charger in order for us to be eligible for a rebate. He also explained everything and what the plan was for running the wires and different locations for the EV charger to be placed. Communication was great and he was on time for and on-site estimate.

Meza Electric is one of best contractors my wife and I have hired to work on our home. After deciding to install a level II home charger for our EV and do some other electrical work, we contacted several electrical firms. Our meeting with Martin, Meza's project estimator, together with Paul Meza's reasonably priced proposal, quickly established Meza as the best candidate. Erick Meza and his crew arrived on the agreed starting date for the project and finished it well within the estimated time. When they found unanticipated problems, they resolved them in a reasonable and professional way, and the quality of the finished installation was very high. After Martin completed the building permit process for us in an efficient and extremely courteous way, Paul Meza helped us assemble documents for our LADWP rebate application. We strongly recommend Meza for any electrical project.

After my long time family friend / electrician left the state of CA I had to find a new licensed, professional, and reliable Electrician .... I ended up finding TWO with Paul and Erick at Meza Electric.

They are both very smart and knowledgeable in the electrical field. They first came to give me a quote, I mentioned lots of other work I needed done and they listened but were very professional and consultative. They have handled several mini projects for me now and all have been fast, efficient, to code, and with no hiccups.

One thing that really stood out to me was while getting a final inspection the inspector gave me a correction for prior work done to my panel. I was not able to afford any more financial burden as it has been 2 years of multiple projects around the house. Called them and told them the situation, they explained their request was not valid and even offered to reach out to the inspector. Long story short the inspector removed the correction and they ended up saving me time and money!

I was scouting for electricians for a small job in my duplex and out of the 3 electricians I obtained estimates, Meza Electric had a honest estimate. Talking with the technicians, they coordinated very well and arrived 4 days sooner than my scheduled appointment which I was very grateful. There job is very professional and detailed. Came across Meza Electric when I was looking to install a charger for my Tesla, and I'm so glad that I did! Everything about them was top notch. Paul came out and explained very clearly what needed to be done, including answering all of my questions and walked through different scenarios. And while I learned I actually needed to have a few other things done as a result, I never once felt pressured or coerced and I was very thankful for Paul's guidance.

Paul's brother Erick came out to do the job and he was just as incredible. He was patient, courteous, and knowledgable, walking me through and explaining each task he was doing . He was responsive through text, on time, and actually ended up going above and beyond on the task at hand and doing more than he needed.
