They are the most expensive electricians I have ever dealt with, and would get eletrocuted before using them again! They sent two people to install 4 new Ioty automated faceplates, install a smart thermostat and swap out a ceiling fan. It took 2 hours to do the faceplates (take out the old box, install the new one and connect the wires) - I was thinking 30 minutes tops for an experienced electrician. This didn't include programming them. The other person couldn't get the thermostat working, and had to call for someone else. Then they just left without finishing, and someone else came to finish. They billed for about 5-6 hours to take down a ceiling fan and install a new one. The total bill - $940!!
Use craigslist or some other service - they tell you upfront what the cost will be, and usually work faster.

I was in a hurry to obtain a quote for repair work. Meyers Electric (esp Sherri) went above and beyond in making that happen! I've heard great things about Meyers from a number of colleagues as far as work product/quality and fair prices! I will definitely use them for all my electrical work.

Did some reading of reviews before deciding to give Meyers a try. I was originally put off by a negative reviewer on here that gave not 1 BUT 2 bad reviews after Meyers Electric reached out to them to try and resolve. (His own words) However they did respond to my web request quickly after I submitted my issue on their website. (I am hearing impaired and struggle on the phone.)

No issues with work provided, they were fast, efficient and overall it was a learning experience for me. The employee I dealt with at the company was the one who had responded to the bad review in an effort to address what they thought were serious issues. He just laughed when I asked him why it was not resolved and encouraged me to look closer.

After reading the review history for the angry customer it became apparent someone was using the review section of many public review sites to leverage companies into boot licking and that is just sad to think it almost influenced me. Who publishes ONLY 1 star reviews? Someone with issues. It is easy to forget in real life you are not that special snowflake your mom always told you that you embodied and this got me angry enough to take the time and make this post reflecting my experience.

They contacted me, scheduled a tech, showed up, completed the job and invoiced me for their office to collect. Done....Nothing overtly fancy or any kowtowing but they are tradesmen not the concierge at a 5 star resort. I was paying them for their knowledge and expertise not their boot licking.

Never trust $%!& post reviewers, some people are just angry they are not a priority after beating their chest for attention.

After Hurricane Michael, I called around trying to get on the list to have an electrician come to my home. Some quoted me 6-7 weeks! I called Meyers Electric and they came out within 3 days and did all the repair work! Prompt and professional!
