Metcalf Electric in Weaverville is the epitome of small town contractor arrogance. They are on their own time despite commitments and appointments. They choose what phone calls to answer or who they will respond to. In my case after commitments were made by the owner Steve for specific work on my property they just didn't show up, call or return my numerous calls. They basically just left me hanging and wouldn't explain why. This company would never survive in a larger community where there are choices. In the future I will go with an electrical contractor as far away as Redding so at least I could depend on someone showing up and following through with their commitments. Good customer service and dependability just is hard to find in small towns and, in my view, doesn't exist with Metcalf Electric, so beware.
