Barney was great!! Had a issue on a weekend (Saturday) and needed someone to come out before we left town on vacation. Realizing the time crunch I went to our Nextdoor page and found Barney's electric came highly recommended on Nextdoor so I gave them a call. Even though he was closed Barney still answered the phone on a Saturday. Barney attempted to walk me through resolving the issue over the phone. Unfortunately, I was not able to be resolved the issue on the phone*. On Monday morning he showed up and located and fixed the issue quickly. *(It was a bad breaker and wiring so I commend him for trying to help me out over the phone, but I wasn't going to be able to fix it myself anyway)

I had a problem with the meter box pulling away from the side of the house. Instead of charging me a fee, they told me that the electric company will do these repairs. Very honest and will use Barney's Electric for any future electrical issues.

We've used Barney twice now, and couldn't be happier. He called back with our quotes quickly, which were less than the larger competitors, and arrived right on time. He works quickly, efficiently, and gets the job done right. We'll have him back again to replace our landscape lighting. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I made an appointment for this morning at 8am for an estimate. At 8:30am I called Barney to see if he was still coming. Apparently he was at my house at 740am and rang the doorbell and no one answered so he left. I don't think he had the right house bc I have been awake all morning and my two dogs certainly would have heard someone at the door. Im not sure why he didn't call me or show up at 8am like we agreed upon.

Just hired Barney's to repair a doorbell and look at a motion light for me, small projects but awesome work- I did not feel at all like I was an afterthought or less of a customer because of the size of the projects. Jason was on time, professional, took care of both items, did not try to up-sell me on anything but did offer his professional opinion on a few products on the market after I asked him about... very knowledgeable. Everyone needs a ""guy"" ... this is my electric guy from now on.

You could not ask for a company with better customer service and expertise. Jason and Barney have done numerous projects at our house. They've changed indoor and outdoor light fixtures and ceiling fans, added outlets for security cameras, fixed faulty light switches, and added GFI outlets to our kitchen. I continually use Barney's Electric because of the prompt response and fair prices but I love Barney's Electric because they leave the areas that they worked in cleaner than when they arrived, refresh my dog's water bowl if they have worked near it, have helped me troubleshoot issues over the phone, and most recently Jason saved me a ton of money by alerting me to a HVAC issue he noticed while in our attic.

Barney is a smart guy. I called him and he knew just over the phone my problems were on the Oncor side..... and yes they were. The transformer on the pole had gone bad. He called me back 3 times to make sure I was ok up until 7 pm. That's the real deal. I always support local
Business but I definitely support local, honest and caring business even more. I hope to use his services in the upcoming days for a panel upgrade!

Our house was struck by lightening and we were having electrical issues around the house. We called Barney's for the first time after seeing one of his trucks the day prior. They were here within an hour and had all my problems solved in a very short matter of time. I would highly recommend this company and I plan to use them again on any electrical issues I may have.
