I'm really glad I went with Mendiola Remodeling and Construction for my bathroom remodel. Miguel and crew did a solid job converting my bathroom from a tub to walk-in-shower. I was really impressed with his team's professionalism and work ethic. They handled everything including returning broken tiles at Floor and Decor and also offering ideas to lay the tile. They were all kind and respected my space everyday. Also Miguel was flexible with my work schedule and payment plan. He's easily accessible by text or phone which was important to me. This was a stress-free project for me thanks to Miguel and his great team! It went so smooth and I now have a beautiful bathroom!

We called Miguel with a vague thought about turning our laundry room into more usable laundry/mudroom for a family of four. Miguel came over within a week and turned those ideas into a blueprint of exactly what we wanted. The project involved moving the existing washer/dryer connections, adding a second set of connections, removing a wall and broom closet, adding cabinetry along two walls, installing granite countertops, new tile flooring, and remodeling the attached powder bathroom. I would highly recommend Miguel and his team. Any time there is an issue he is very transparent and generally offers multiple solutions. This is the second time Miguel has come through for us and we will not hesitate to call him again.

Miguel and his crews did a fabulous job for us. We did a major remodel of our 2 story home. there wasn't a single room that went untouched. Miguel helped us reimagine the layout of the house in ways I couldn't imagine on my own. He moved the stairs from the front of the house to the back, removed the fireplace and chimney and repaired all the damage caused by the removal. I gave Miguel and his crews many challenges and they rose to every one of them. I love my new home! The attention to detail was so appreciated. Over the months of work, Miguel and his men became like family. Our house was rewired, re plumbed, a half bath was made into a whole bath and a half bath was added. The master bath was reworked and a wet room was installed. The tile work was fabulous. We put in all new floors. I could not be happier with the results!!!!

We needed a complete overhaul on our kitchen. We did have a bad experience in the past and took us a long time to settle on a contractor for the kitchen. Choosing Mendiola Remodeling was a great decision. Miguel listened to us took our requests made some suggestions and together we came up with the final design. He made some great suggestions and saved us from making costly mistakes.
We did live in the house throughout the entire remodel and got to see the entire process first hand. His guys were very professional and respectful of our house. At the end of every day they will clean up after themselves, pick up their tools and remove all the garbage form the yard. Miguel would often stop by, check on the progress and chat with us about the process and if we had any concerns. He even rolled his sleeves and helped his guys with the framing on a Saturday.
The remodel was done a week ahead of the schedule. All the work is really high quality, finishes are spotless and we have and amazing kitchen.
If you are looking for a contractor to do any work in your house, look no further. Mendiola Remodeling is the only contractor we will be using in the future.

Mendiola Remodeling & Construction did a fantastic job with the remodeling of my master bathroom. Since day one they worked with me and literally redesigned my bathroom. This being my first time doing a major remodeling project they took the time and explained everything to me in addition to having great communication throughout the remodeling process. Because of global shortages some of the items I needed to buy were in back order but they were flexible enough and worked with me on delaying the start date to accommodate for this. I cannot say enough praises for the wonderful working crew this company has. Each one of them were very respectful of my home and very knowledgeable. I'm very happy with how my master bathroom looks and will definitely use this company again in the future.

We absolutely love the work that Mendiola Remodeling completed on our home! Everyone is very courteous and professional, and every tradesman did a great job. They helped with our kitchen, primary bath, adding doors to our study, and replacing part of our fence. The level of communication was excellent, and throughout the entire process Manny and Miguel both checked in to make sure we were happy. We will definitely work with them again, and I have referred them to multiple people since they helped with our home :)

We hired this company to remodel an upstairs bathroom. The lack of professionalism is shocking. Many things went wrong; however, the icing on the cake is when I sent a picture of our towel bar coming out of the wall after less than a month. Their response was ""the towel holders have the proper ankers that came with it and are not designed to withstand any other than a twol weight, they are not as strong as a handle bar! Maybe someone put too much weight on it, I will recommend you to get heavier duty anchors if your hanging something to heavy!"" We have never in 27 years of living in this house had an issue with towel bars coming out of the wall. They apparently do not stand behind their work.

The pipes in my froze during the recent cold snap that we had in Houston last week,, 02/22/21-02/27/21,. I called Mendiola Remodeling on 02/25/21 and they responded on 02/26/21. The owner promised that his company could find the leak if I let the company tear up my kitchen. Once they started to put wholes in the wall and removed the countertops there was no turning back.

I was not given a price until the job was done. Even though the average charge for plumbers is Houston is between $175 hr to $395 hr, I was charged $2,650 (883.00 per hour) or 3 hours of work. When I found out I had been over charge I called the CC company and ""canceled"" the purchase. The mayor and county judge may it quite clear that company's were not to take advantage of customrrs and that's exactly what Mendiola Remodeling Company did!

I had another contracting company, KC Make Ready Construction, to do work in my home and they were horrible (that's another review). They started in January, and in May the work still was not complete, so I found a few different companies online and decided to use Mendiola Remodeling and Construction. The bid was fair, and they started working on my home within two day of signing the contract. Within two weeks the work was completed, and I love how my bathroom turned out. The workers arer super nice, and also respectful of my home. The other contractor never covered the floors or furniture, and as a result there were dust everywhere. All in all, I am very satisfied with the work and I would recommend them for future projects.
