I highly recommend using Mendieta Lighting & Electrical for any of your electrical needs because Frank (owner) provides high quality service with excellence, work is done quickly, and he is trustworthy and dependable.

I recently bought a home that needed extensive electrical work. During escrow inspections Frank found that the recessed lighting was improperly wired and that the panel was faulty and a safety hazard. After closing escrow Frank rewired my total home removing old knob and tube wiring throughout the house, properly rewired the recessed lighting in the attic, and installed a new panel. He also upgraded and added light switches, outlets, lights (interior/exterior), and kitchen outlets. His crew worked fast, kept a clean workplace in my home, and do excellent work.

Frank is professional and relational he took time to answer all my questions and explain anything to me that I did not understand. He was very patient and understanding while I was making decisions. I am absolutely satisfied with the work Frank did and would not hesitate to ask him to help me with any future electrical needs I have. It's hard to say enough good things about Frank and his team. We had a big remodel, and we planned on redoing all of the electric work in the house. Frank was immeasurably helpful at all stages of this process, his work was impeccable, our conversations frank and honest, and he was there for every city inspection to make sure there were no issues. This is a bit late of a review - Frank and his crew rewired major portions of our house a year and half ago from knob and tube wiring to romex. I was super happy with the service. Specifically, I really enjoyed working with Frank who was super patient and probably one of the easiest contractors I've talked to in my experience so far. As a new homeowner I didn't know all the options available, so he was willing to problem solve with me like installing timer switches, cabinet lighting, etc. And if I changed my mind he was quick to respond without hassle. Prices were competitive too. Overall a great experience!

Frank and team are awesome. This is our first home ever and I feel like I'm in over my head. Frank has been so patient with my questions and explaining all the nuances of the different eras of wiring in our new home. We had everything from a new pool panel, additional breakers, re-wiring of the garage and clean-up in the attic from other work that was poorly done.

One of the best things is that he actually seems to like explaining things to us when we ask all the questions or want to know what is doing unlike so others who get annoyed or act like I won't understand 'cause I'm a girl. He recommended things we had to do and things we should do and the reason why it is right decision. He also was available when I called and patient when I kept adding things or when he had to re-cut holes for outlets when my painters got over zealous in patching. His pricing also seems super fair and I feel like I got a lot of value in his work. Call him you, won't be sorry.

Highly recommend! Rewired the whole house, updated all switches, outlets and installed a couple of new switches/outlets. Francisco was on time, thorough, communicated very well, kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and above all... knows his trade!
