Mejia Electric Service came in to install three ceiling fans and all three turned out great. They covered all my furniture prior to beginning the work so my stuff was not covered in debris, and were able to finish in 4 hours. The two gentleman doing the installation wore their masks throughout the entire job. I am very please with the results.

PLEASE READ! Do not hire this electrician. We had a very bad experience with him. He installed the electric panel in our home and we had problems. He decided on his own to drill Holes in my laundry area and put the grounding wires inside my house behind the washer. When the city did the inspection the inspector said he always prefers the grounding wires outside. I asked him to move them outside and he finally agreed. Before he moved them he accidentally text me instead of his worker to only ground the cold water pipe. I asked his worker about that and he said he didn't know why he said that and that he was going to ground all 3. He did not. When I questioned Mr. Mejia, he said he was going to send someone else to inspect. He sent another worker and he came with the grounding wires already in his hand to connect the hot water and gas pipe. He was dishonest and blamed his worker when I questioned him stating that he was new and did not have a lot of experience. That may be true that he has a new worker but, ultimately Mr. Mejia holds the license and he is the one that told him to only connect the cold water pipe. I can only assume that it was to save money on materials.
After it was repaired I called the city to ask for
Another inspection since the grounding wires were moved. When I told Mr. Mejia he was very unprofessional and yelled at me and told me "" Do you

Got me into?"" Then he said that he loved it when people did things like this to him and that now he was going to make 20,000 dollars more for what I did to him. I told him, if he would have done things right to begin with he wouldn't have a second inspection.
We also had him install light pods in the kitchen. In the contract we agreed that he would install 4 inch light pods. At the end of the day, I called him and he let me
Know he had his workers install 6 inch light pods since he was not able to purchase 4 inch ones. This made me
Pretty angry that he would on his own install 6 inch ones when that is not what was in the contract. He never changed them to the 4 inch ones.
Mr. Mejia also told us that the holes they made in the walls were going to be covered back up. When it came time to cover up holes, he said he did cover
Them with plastic and blue tape. He said he doesn't drywall and that his contractor license does not cover
That. He was not honest when he told us in the beginning of the job that he was going to cover them. He lied and we had to hire someone else's to do that job.
During the time he was here he also made comments about my children's race, my ethnicity and when I asked him to fix the electrical problems that were not right, he told me that I had the attitude of a black women, just like his black workers mother. I did not appreciate that. That comment was rude and racist. Mr. Mejia asks too many questions that are not related to the job (very unprofessional) and he tries to take short cuts on jobs to save money on materials and is not honest.
Also, on 2 of the days he was supposed to do
The job he cancelled by text the same day. No explanation of why, just cancelled and said he would not come. Very unprofessional!
I definitely would not hire this company.

Don't waste your time. They quoted me 1500 then 2200 to do some landscape lighting and then canceled twice. Reason for canceling was because they had a bigger job the 1st time and then a 2nd time because I asked about warranty. Very unprofessional.

Great service and great price. I asked for a quote to install a ceiling fan on the app and got an immediate response from Jesus.

They showed up an hour later quoted the price, completed the job and cleaned up by 12:30.

Mejia to the rescue! Another electrical company had to postpone installing new circuits and adding recessed lights since their techs got sick with COVID.

Once I found out, I started my Yelp search and narrowed it down to 3 companies. I reached out to Mejia Electric Service late in the day and didn't need to look elsewhere. We discussed scope of project and the owner was able to come out the next business day. We came to an agreement and his team was able to start the following day! My project was back on track thanks to Mejia.

The techs arrived on time, wore mask and were very professional. The owner was kind enough to replace an old and outdated exterior light for free - I just needed to buy a new exterior light. Talk about great customer service!

As more circuits were being added and we discussed my future electrical needs, it become apparent that I would need to update the electrical panel. Since Mejia provided a competitive price to replace the panel, I decided to upgrade the panel now.

I had a few questions along the way and the owner was kind and polite when explaining. More importantly, he was never pushy or short. In this COVID era, contractors and electricians are in high demand. I highly recommend Mejia Electric Service!!

I contacted the electrician and he immediately came and gave me an estimate with a fair price. I hired him on to move my electrical panel. Once moved and the city giving the ok they had the stucco done and before painting it started to crack everywhere. I made him aware of this and he said the city had signed off and he would do nothing else. So due to the owner being friendly and all I originally brushed off a few things during the process. They damaged the interior drywall when mounting the new box, when they broke the stucco they did not move items in the way or cover them to protect them. I would go with someone else if you are doing any electrical.
