Mejia electric is a dependable company that offers quality service and repair. They listened as I tried to explain as best as I could what happened with my electrical outlets in the kitchen and they gave me an estimate for the repair with no sales pressure after I told them I would have to think about it.

By the time I called them back it was after hours and they texted me, after I left my cell number on their answering machine to help schedule my appointment for the next day in the morning. Very convenient and responsive!

The next day the electrician was there right on time and got to work right away. He explained the problem he found with the outlet going out that then sent an electrical current to the outlet next to it causing that one to go out as well. He replaced replaced them both right away easily and then I was able to plug in and use my microwave and stove again!

My garage was an electrical fire hazard. My main problem was how the garage door opener was installed and receiving power through a dangling orange extension cord. The garage door opener was installed by a professional. My garage is not fully covered by drywall--only the wall I share with my neighbor.

Called Mejia Electric Service and Jesus, the owner, came out and immediately recognized the problem with the garage door opener and the other dangling cords throughout the garage. Also while discussing the electrical needs, I mentioned I wanted more lighting for the garage. So LED lighting controlled through a motion sensor would be installed. There were seven individual tasks and one in the house that need to be completed.

Jose, the electrician, worked on this project, completing all tasks with focused attention to detail. Excellent work!

I had a small silly job involving a fountain in a brick pedestal I needed an outlet for. It required a rewire. $650 was the estimate after several photos sent and some back and forth. I had the exact same job done for $225 by a licensed electrician I located thru Next Door. 2 stars for being responsive.

Looking for a professional straight shooter licensed electrician company with reasonable prices than look no further. I needed to upgrade my electric panel at my residence and several outlets inside my house. I contacted Mejia Electric Service and the owner took it upon himself to meet with me and take the time to explain the necessary repairs. Most important did his best to work with my budget. The job was completed within the time promised and his staff were true professionals and clean. Made sure everything was done accordingly and were glad to answer any additional questions once the job was completed. I highly recommend this company with first class service!

He took the time to be present during the city permit inspections and had his stucco repair person come literally on the same day after the morning final inspection to complete the work. Jesus was a very nice guy. He responded very quickly and promptly. He came out and gave a quote and was willing to work with my schedule and got the job done the next day. I bought an enclosure for the outlet and my tesla charging adapter to be placed outdoor and he installed it perfectly for me. Everything was done as described and the job was great. This review is long overdue. I just want to emphasize that Mejia Electric Service did work for me in early 2021. I'm just as happy today than the day the Mejia team finished installing my new Electrical Panel. I needed to update from an old 70 amp to a 220 amp. Jesus was incredibly patient with my questions and explained the process step by step. Jesus was knowledgeable and helpful from navigating the process of getting a meter spot to working with Anaheim Utilities and Code Enforcement for inspection. Especially in my area that is considered Historic Anaheim. Which sometimes can be more strict about panel upgrades. Jesus made his recommendations and even shared a lot of his knowledge about electrical. Overall the process was painless. The work was done in a timely manner, very clean and professional. Best of all Jesus gave me a couple different options for the electrical panel manufacturer in terms of good, better, best or $, $$, $$$. I opted for the Square-D. Jesus was also very flexible with the form of payment and very competitive in pricing.

They came out to take a look at a variety of electrical issues. They pressed the GFCI button, which fixed a portion of the issue, but didn't address any of the real electrical issues we were having with the TV not turning on, the fireplace, the outdoor outlet. Then they charged $180 even though this wasn't communicated earlier. It seems like they aren't really knowledgeable about how to fix real electrical issues and don't charge fairly.
