5 stars! We needed a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in our garage for EV charging and I contacted 15 electricians through Yelp to get quotes. The quotes I received ran the range from $380 - $1200! Mejia Electric Service and one other electrician offered free on-site estimates/consultations so I scheduled them both.

I communicated directly with Jesus Mejia via text and phone call and he was very professional and responsive. He came on a Wednesday at 11am to give the estimate (he was by far the most reasonable price) and one of his electricians arrived Friday at 10am to do the install.

Luckily, our garage has its own electric subpanel and was able to support the new outlet without having to run a new line from the main breaker box. Installation was completed in about 45 minutes and the electrician was friendly and professional.

Would 100% recommend them to anyone and use them again!

We recently updated the exterior of our older house and needed new electrical everywhere lol.

We had Jesus and his team install multiple different lights all over the exterior of our house as well as multiple types of dimmers, switches, timers, you name it they did it.

They always showed up right on time and were a pleasure to have around our house. To be honest I am looking for another house so that I can hire Jesus and his team again haha.

I had Jesus replace my bathroom exhaust fan. He was communicative, punctual, and reasonable with the project. The bathroom exhaust fan was fixed 6 weeks ago and it's still running great without any issues. On top of that he is a nice person and respectful of the homeowner property. Thank you Jesus.

I was very disappointed with Mejia services! It started off on a great note with him coming to our house and listening to our needs on installing a charger for our EV.. Jesus seemed very eager to be of service and gave us a really good price on installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet.

But when we set the appointment for Tuesday he NO SHOW! I called and no answered and messaged on Yelp.. to which he replied it's for Thursday.. I gave him the benefit of a doubt that maybe he mistaken for Thursday even though I confirmed Tuesday! Fine... Thursday come... NO SHOW again!! He eventually reached out almost 2hours later stating... parts were delayed and ""other"" job obligations..

While I understand he may be a busy guy.. but ""NO SHOW"" twice in a row with NO communication is unprofessional! He had a week to order or gather supplies for the installation. He's the electrician and the expert on parts and stuff!

My friend was at my house.. and made an appointment with him the following day to get lights installed in his garage. And he NO SHOWed at my friends as well!

I cleared 2 days of out my week hoping to get this EV outlet installed but only ended up in major disappointment!!

I wish his business all the best of luck! He needs better time management and communication with his customer because that is not a good look for his business!

I eventually took my business to CYDD electric and they texted and email me to confirm my appointment!! What a breath of fresh air there!! Great customer service and reliability is what people appreciate!

Immediate follow through - fast friendly and 100% professional.
We needed a replacement electric meter box and Jesus and his team took care of everything we needed.
From getting permits and arranging the inspections from the city, to the dry wall and resurfacing of the stucco surrounding the electric meter itself.

I was looking for a company to help with upgrading my electrical for my bathroom remodel - upgrading to grounded outlets, changing exhaust fans, installing motion sensor for light, replacing vanity lights and more. I didn't want a big company taking my money. I wanted a small business who may have been struggling through these times. I ended up using them for other small projects I needed around the house, like installing a ceiling fan in my bedroom, replacing outdoor light and fixing electrical outlet in one of the bedrooms.
They were very responsive. Jesus came out to see what needed to be done and emailed me the estimate, which I then signed and sent back. They came very prompt at 8am and finished in less time than expected. They definitely cleaned up after themselves, not like other contractors I have been working with lately - cough-plumber-cough - but that's another review. After the work was completed, I gave the ok to charge my card and received my receipt via email.
My daughter loved what they did and wanted a ceiling fan installed in her room, so I called them back for another small job. Job completed! Fan looks great!
