New washer and dryer delivered...but wait, the outlet is not up to code! Read the Yelp reviews, and called Jose at Tri Electric. He could actually squeeze me in and was at my house in 30 minutes. He changed the outlet, offered friendly suggestions on work I intended to do and was done lickety-split. Great service, and a VERY kind man. Guess whose name is going down in my cell phone under ""Electrician""? Jose Trinidad!

I've used Jose for two projects now, and recommend him very highly. The first project was fairly small, installing wiring for my dryer, and he was prompt, thorough and got the job done in the time he estimated. I'm now doing some remodeling, and have had do do some rewiring. I was happy to call him back. Again, he's been doing a good job (my brother-in-law is a contractor, and has been impressed with the work), and (no small thing for us homeowners), he always returns my calls, and keeps in touch.

Jose just installed a ceiling fan in a bedroom. In short, his and his assistant's work was outstanding. As others have said, he was punctual, respectful, efficient, polite, trustworthy, very clean (covered the work area nicely with plastic), and did a fabulous job installing the fan. I bought an inexpensive fan, and as such, it was missing a balancing kit which the manufacturer should have included. But Jose worked around it and got it to balance properly anyway. He spent some time answering questions I had about another unrelated issue as well. After this job, I can't imagine ever hiring another electrician, because his work was top notch!

My husband and I have hired Tri Electric (Jose Trinidad) several times. We have a 100 year old bungalow that is a challenge to update. Thankfully we found Jose on Angie's List and he has been wonderful to work with. He returns emails and phone calls promptly, he is on time, he is beyond neat in the work area, he explains what he is doing, he is very experienced so I trust his suggestions completely, he never complains, he is patient with all of our questions, and above all of that, his rates are right on. So fair and honest. He usually brings a helper with him and I have found all of them to be as courteous and thoughtful as Jose. Such a breath of fresh air compared to some other contractors etc we have hired in the past.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jose with any electrical job you may have. You will not be disappointed and you can be sure that the work completed is done the right way within the budget that you may have.

Thank-you for making life easier for us Jose. It's such a relief to know that there are business owners out there that take pride in their work, and give you way more than you expected.

Jose and his son came to help us on two different occasions. Jose is punctual, kind, patient and extremely reasonable. He clearly takes pride in his work. We are so happy with our recessed lights and new outlets. Thank you, Jose! We are saving up for you to update our living room lights next!

We needed to install 2 bathroom fans with roof venting and 8 recessed lights in our living room. After receiving an astronomical bid from a general contractor we contacted Jose Trinidad at Tri Electric. He came over the same evening to give us a quote. The estimate was way lower than the contractor's bid so we arranged to have him start at 8am on a Saturday. At 7:30am that Saturday he was already waiting in our driveway. Rang the doorbell right at 8.

He double-checked with us before making any holes in the ceiling and confirmed exactly how things would look. He covered all the furniture and floors to keep them clean and cleaned up nicely after the project was over. When one of the light switches (which I bought) was defective, he went to Home Depot at lunch to get a replacement part without charging me anything extra. (I later found out that his van was broken into at Home Depot, which I felt terrible about, but he didn't let it affect his work for us).

When everything was done, he even gave us a little discount for mentioning Yelp which we weren't expecting! Jose was a true professional and we will consider him in the future for any further electrical needs..

I loved his service! Turns out he couldn't help me because I'm not in his area. He serves the east bay and I'm in Daly City. Yet, I can tell he would be great to work with. First he called me back promptly on a Saturday morning, even though their hours show they work M-F. Second, he left me a message listing a few possible solutions to fix my dead outlets. I loved that! He didn't have to do that, but I appreciate it so much. It may even save me some money. You get the feeling of someone looking to be of service, not just make a buck!! Great quality in a company!

Tri Electric is the best! I am surprised Jose doesn't have more reviews on here. He is so professional, always on time (even a few minutes early), and has great prices. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and honest, like another reviewer mentioned. He will not try to rip you off-- and unfortunately I can't say that about any other contractor I worked with. He and his team did a really fantastic job installing all my recessed lighting and updating my electrical to meet city requirements. I was lucky to find him and would most certainly call him again when I need an electrician!

The contractor was very professional, arrived on-time and explained the work in detail. He involved me at every critical stage of the work, and completed extras without stopping and was very clean and detailed. City permits were included, and with Jose's help, everything was signed off on the day I expected. I highly recommend TRI electric, not the lowest price, but by far the best quality.

Jose came to do an estimate this week at my newly purchased home. He was thorough and honest regarding scope of work, time and cost estimate. Further, his bid was much cheaper than the other three electricians who also furnished estimates for the same or similar work. In fact, the actual bill came in $225 cheaper than his estimate, which was already very competitive!

Further, Jose estimated the work on Tuesday, and came today (Thursday) to perform the most crucial projects. He rearranged his schedule to accommodate our house project time-line.

We will definitely hire TRI Electric again!
