Jose Trinidad did a great job for us. We had two industrial-style overhead lights we wanted installed in our newly purchased condo and both were tricky--one replaced a pot light in our entryway and the other replaced a strange 'spaceship' light in our kitchen. A previous electrician we'd been referred to had said the job was pretty much impossible and thus would be wildly expensive. But Mr. Trinidad just had me purchase a couple of simple parts. The installation took him about an hour and he even ran down to his truck to find a plate for the dimmer switch. We couldn't be happier. He was so professional and also so nice to take on a small job like this when he has a packed and busy schedule. I highly recommend Megaton Electric.

I recently had to replace an appliance in my kitchen and one of my GFCI outlets kept resetting. After hours of troubleshooting I called Megatron electric on New Year's Eve. I didn't expect anyone to answer but Jose answered and helped troubleshoot over the phone. We were unable to fix the issue over the phone but were able to schedule time for him to come by and assess the issue. Jose came by and quickly resolved the problem. I highly recommend using Megatron electric for any electrical needs.

Recently I had an issue with an old and failing main power connection. PG&E came by to shut of my power. Megaton was responsive and quickly installed a new main connection, including relocating the meter and installing a few new ground lines. Took care of city and PG&E permits and inspections. Very happy!

I called Jose at 11 this morning and told him I had a GFCI that was not resetting. He was here by 2 pm and replaced the broken receptacle. Quick and easy. Very pleasant man. Will keep him on my list for the next time I need an electrician.

I used Megaton to recently install some electric for a hot tub and they came in the lowest bid per about 7 other places we called. They were efficient in doing the job and got it done in a fast amount of time. The only downside of that work was that they left quite a lot of mess at the job site (bits of spare wiring, piping, sawdust, etc.) that I had to clean up. They also cut a hole in my gate without asking permission first...which I would have given but it would have been nice to be asked. That said, the work itself was great. When it came time to pay, he did it off of memory vs. having any documentation and I'm 90% sure added about $800 more than we agreed upon. But I also only had my memory to go off of.

The real reason I'm giving them 3 stars is b/w I asked them to come give a bid on some interior work and they stood me up. Then I called to reschedule a 2nd session to give a bid...and they stood me up again. Zero calls to apologize either time. So unfortunately I'm going to have to look for another electrician :(

Reliable and professional. Jose and his crew Installed a surveillance camera system, installed recessed lighting, upgraded all outlets to GFI and hid camera wiring in the closet/ attic for a clean appearance.

These guys were great, especially as they dealt with PG&E, they kept after them for the upgrade I wanted done in remodel, there were some changes that were reasonably charged and the estimate was best around. I have more work to do and will go to them directly. I really appreciated how Jose kept me informed and up to date on work

Jose was excellent. He arrived on time and new how to fix our problem. He was friendly, professional and had years of experience. The price was reasonable too.
A big shout out to the nice woman on the phone who scheduled my appt. She was so nice and she knew our job needed Jose.
