Could not be more pleased. The lady that scheduled the service was very nice and helpful. She called me when the electrician was on the way. Joe showed up on time and was very courteous. He quickly found the problem and explained the fix. He took care of everything, did a neat job, and left the area clean. I was very pleased with the price and will use them again.

Over a week ago I called to get an estimate for the installation of a generator transfer switch. The appointment was set for the morning of January 11, 2022. By noon no one came. At noon I called to cancel because both my wife and I have other appointments in the afternoon. I am willing to bet I was forgotten about. I bet my appointment wasn't even scheduled. Meeks is off my list for electrical work.

I bought a very expensive spa from Pinch a Penny and was referred to Meeks electric to wire my deck for a panel. Cue a series of very fortunate events. First they told me they were coming on Tuesday. Hearing nothing I called on Monday. Was advised that my paperwork must been lost and I was not on the schedule. No call back that day. They finally came Thursday. The two gentlemen finished in about 2 hrs. Pinch -a-Penny came out and advised that the hot tub wasn't working correctly because it was wired incorrectly. Meeks sent two new people out the next morning. One advised that the people from yesterday ""totally screwed it up"" and that one was a ""crackhead."" (??) They apologized and did what they came to do. Pinch-a-Penny comes back and advises that a hot line has been wired thru a neutral port in the box. THIS COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE!! Meeks comes back. Acknowledges the wiring is incorrect and that it should have been caught on the second trip out, but blamed the weather (it was chilly and sprinkling). Please note the P-a-P person found the error under the same conditions. Meeks denies that it could have damaged the hot tub (untrue,). No answer for ""could it have hurt someone"" or ""isn't that illegal"". I said ""no problem, I have a picture of what you did."" Lead worker gets an attitude and refuses to say anything else. When he's done, he looks at me deadpan and in the most sarcastic voice possible tells me ""sorry for your inconvenience."" Called Meeks, explained the events. All they could say was 1) they acknowledged the serious errors,2) I had a terrible experience,3) they would speak to the technicians, 4) they were sorry, and 5) hopefully I would use them again so they could show me how good they really are. UHHHHHHH NO. (I paid over $2k for this service.) Thank God Pinch-a-Penny was paying attention.

Had a few electrical contractors try to pull some fast ones on me, so I called around and was referred to Meeks Electrical Service. Hard workers at this company. Fastest and most reliable contractor I've ever had the pleasure of working with!!

Rates are reasonable, top quality work, definitely up front with the pricing. All things I respect from a decent company. Had a few scheduling difficulties but they worked with me well enough to get things done in a timely manner.

Big thanks to the crew, if I ever need additional service, they'll be the first ones I call.

Terrible service. Called to have a 3 phase shop fan hooked up. Tech had no clue on how to wire it up. Installed a temp breaker and was supposed to come back and install a new breaker. Never did. Sent a invoice that I did not pay because job was not complete. The old man called my office and was rude to one of my employees. Threatened to send account to collections. I called back to tell the old man I would be more than happy to pay when they complete the job. At that time he started to dog cuss me out saying I just needed to pay invoice. So too get rid of the nut case my invoice has been paid and called another company to come replace breaker and check there work. Totally unprofessional and highly recommend you use another company.

This past Monday I called bright and early and spoke with Jeff to ask about a repair to my parents' house in Marianna, Florida (an hour away from Tallahassee). My parents were without power for 3 weeks after hurricane Michael. They couldn't get their power restored even when their neighborhood's electrical service was reinstated because of damage to their weatherhead. The wait list for a local electrician is miles long. Jeff said their team would stop by my parents' house to do the repair first thing Tuesday morning - and they did! Thanks to Meeks, my parents now have power. My dad said the service was great. We are so grateful for their help!

I discovered this morning my water heater wasn't heating. While I checked the electrical box in my garage and everything seemed to be fine, I decided to call Meeks & Sons. Not only did they return my call promptly but arrived at my home within 30 minutes. They checked the electrical system and determined it was not an electrical problem. I will use this company for all electrical work in the future and recommend them to everyone.

I called Meeks on Monday 1/26 at 8am. They said they could be out the next morning and would call me in the afternoon to schedule the exact time.

Later on 1/26, they called and scheduled for 7:45am 1/27. The person on the phone was the same both times and was very polite!

On 1/27, the guys showed up a little late (8:00 ish), but wayyyy better than most as far as contractors.

The guys listened to my problem and what my experience had been up to that point (with useless AHS home warranty service). They went up and did their thing.

Not 20 minutes later they came down and said everything was fixed working properly. I realize this was an easy repair, but Meeks was polite, prompt and thorough. Can't beat that! I am very pleased.

I'm not sure what the bill is, they said I will get an invoice in the mail, but I don't expect it to be much and won't edit this posting unless I get an outrageous bill!
