Company Overview

Meehan Electrical Services has proudly provided service to both residential and commercial clients since 1960. We provide a range of services including troubleshooting, lightning damage restoration, surge protection, service upgrades, remodeling, and restoration, as well as ceiling fan, pool, and spa installations, and attic fan repairs. We also handle smoke alarms, security lighting, and outlets for phone, cable, and television. In addition, we provide installation and maintenance for parking lot lights, wall packs, sensors, and service poles.

In 1960, Meehan Electrical Services began its mission by serving commercial businesses. Over the years, we have expanded our reach to include both commercial and residential customers.

Meehan Electric was founded by Jeff's grandfather in 1960. Jeff spent his childhood and college years working alongside his father, who had taken the reins of the business. Upon graduating from the University of Georgia, Jeff became the Manager of the Service Department at Meehan Electric, allowing his father to focus on major contracting jobs. He enjoyed helping customers and valued the direct interactions that came with working in the service department. When he acquired the business from his father, he decided to concentrate exclusively on service work, leading to the rebranding as Meehan Electrical Services.
