My heater had stopped working and Mark from MDM came out after I placed a service call with my home warranty company.

I was initially apprehensive because I called him the day I placed the service request and his vm was full. I called the warranty company and they informed me that Mark would be calling me that day. He called me! We set an appointment up for the next day.he was out, on time. He was up on my roof, made the repairs, and voila everything works!

I should also mention how nice and informative Mark is. All around, he is the best service person that Old Republic has sent out yet.

This review comes with mixed results. At the end of spring '18 our A/C was not operating properly and Old Republic Home Warranty recommended MDM West of Yucaipa. They came out and quickly repaired the unit before the truly hot portion of the summer. Fast forward to June 26, '18. After the great service we experienced we requested MDM West back to our home through Old Republic Home Warranty to assist with three fans that stopped working and a light outside of our garage. MDW West came and again received very good experience with supporting 2 of the 4 items. A fan capacitor fried and needed to be replaced along with a photo eye for the garage light and was told it would be ordered and we would get a call for them to return.

No phone call the entire month of July! 8/4/18, email was sent by Old Republic to MDM West with no response back to us from either company! I contacted Old Republic on 8/13/8 and was told MDM West still needed to order the capacitor and would call me the same day.

Again, no phone call!

8/23/18- I called Old Republic to get status update. MDM West shared they lost the capacitor and a different provider could come address the issue.

A complete lack of professionalism and total disregard of customer service! I would have been completely fine with a phone stating the capacitor was misplaced and for him to return to look at a like fan to order the correct part. Instead, we have zero response and left in the dark by both MDM West and Old Republic.

Very disappointed.

Yay I get to be the first review!! We put in a service request call through our home warranty insurance for our AC in the middle of summer and we're expecting a horrendous wait. To our surprise he came out next day and fixed it no problem. He seemed super honest and very nice. We will be definitely using him again!!
