I always get three estimates for any job I have done on my house. I look for good reviews, value, licensing and warranty and McWay Electric fit the bill. One major pet peeve of mine is unresponsive customer service. Though, McWay was a little more expensive, I did get a discount, than who I originally chose, I went with this company because they actually got back to me. I am still waiting for the call from the other company they said they would give me. Luckily, this was not an urgent matter. Chris arrived on the time slot agreed upon and finished the work promptly. I would use and recommend this company again.

We hired Chris to add some LED down lights in our living areas and add & replace a couple dimmer switches. His prices were right in line with the two other quotes that we received, but his responsiveness and professionalism was much better than the others. Have used them twice once to do a stop gap fix due to our kitchen microwave being on the same circuit as basically the whole house. They were able to get the fix in so I could live until we could put the microwave on its own circuit.

When I finally got the circuit put in they were quick, easy, and got the job done for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Great work from Chris and Justin who took care of my dual meter and 200amp service upgrade project for my rental property that I added a detached ADU. They did all the scheduling with SDG&E and city inspector. Their work passed the city inspection and now I got my 2 meters and a subpanel inside the garage that they transferred all the circuit from the old panel. They also gave me the lowest bid out of 5 contractors I contacted. Very professional and have all the materials ready when all the other contractors telling me that what I needed for the project are backordered. Will definitely use them again for any future electrical projects. Thank you again to Chris and Justin!
