I needed a lot of electrical work done to get a 220 V hot tub connected in my backyard. As this was something new to me I was not aware of what was needed, however, Chris at McWay Electric was very knowledgeable and walked me through the process, and explained everything throughout. The whole process was very smooth and the connection looks great. Chris is very professional and easy to work with. Have used them twice once to do a stop gap fix due to our kitchen microwave being on the same circuit as basically the whole house. They were able to get the fix in so I could live until we could put the microwave on its own circuit.

When I finally got the circuit put in they were quick, easy, and got the job done for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Great work from Chris and Justin who took care of my dual meter and 200amp service upgrade project for my rental property that I added a detached ADU. They did all the scheduling with SDG&E and city inspector. Their work passed the city inspection and now I got my 2 meters and a subpanel inside the garage that they transferred all the circuit from the old panel. They also gave me the lowest bid out of 5 contractors I contacted. Very professional and have all the materials ready when all the other contractors telling me that what I needed for the project are backordered. Will definitely use them again for any future electrical projects. Thank you again to Chris and Justin!

The team at McWay Electric did a great job hanging my lightfixtures on our sloped ceiling. They were affordable, responsive and had a great attitude even when they had to come back due to me ordering the wrong kind of fixture the first time. The electrician who came out could not have been more polite and mindful of us and our needs. Really nice guys! I highly recommend them!

DID NOT RIP ME OFF!! Three electricians quoted for 3x the price I paid. I actually knew the problem I had and just because I was to scared to fix it myself paid McWay Electric. They answered all my questions and showed me how to fix it. Next they get my it won't be because I am scared it will be because the customer service is bar-none the best!

Donnie and Chris were professional, personable, respectful and masked! They did a thorough inspection of our electrical panel to determine the problem, installed the fix and tested our appliances. They proved a previous electrician sent by our warranty company wrong and saved us $6,000...and Chris came back one week later to inspect and ensure all was well!
We will never use another electrician and we Highly recommend McWay!
