I have been using McNeer for my electrical needs for several years. I have been very pleased with their service and will continue to use them. When I decided to get a generator last fall and learned that McNeer was an authorized installer for Generac, it was a no brainer. I called them. McNeer installed my generator and I was very pleased. I needed to have the circuit breaker for my bathroom heater replaced. I also wanted to change the time that the generator did its weekly self-test. I was happy that I was able to get it all done in one service visit. Tanner and Tristan were great. Tanner ran a diagnostic test on my bathroom heater to be sure that it was not blowing the circuit breaker. It was not broken. It just needed a new light bulb. They took care of that. Tristan changed the time for the generator self test.

Last week I had a serious problem with a couple of my breakers that were being triggered intermittently, which is bad for appliances and worse for safety reasons. I have been a prior satisfied customer of McNeer Electrical Contracting and immediately called them. I explained to a very nice and polite, Miss Celeste, who worked hard to locate a Technician in a matter of minutes. She understood my immediate concern. Miss Celeste had a Technition come out within an hour! About an hour later, a Technician, Journeyman, Patrick Marrone, responded and contacted me with a listening ear, sincere concern and a friendly smile. Patrick had to do some deep investigating which involved some time as he was conducting a process-by-elimination strategy. It worked. Patrick, a very knowledgeable and seasoned Technician went right to work, though it involved alot of hard work and a few hours, Patrick was able to detect, locate, repair and fix the problem. Patrick explained everything he was doing and why and he even gave me a few options in the way that I wanted it handled. Patrick cleaned up very good and asked me if I had any questions. Patrick was very knowledgeable and professional in his job AND Customer relations. Patrick made me feel at ease by assuring me that the problem was fixed and not to worry. He was right. I have had no more Breaker problems causing me to worry for my Family's safety

Wrong estimate
I requested estimate service at a property on April 12,2024. The service technicians that came out were very unprofessional, rude, and didn't give an estimate on the service I requested. I was charged for an inspection that I didn't request and an estimate for a ceiling switch which I requested an estimate for motion lights on the outside of the property. Called reported my dissatisfaction with their service for the estimate person made no effort or concern to make it right. The person who booked appointment didn't inform me about a charge for the estimate that they do inspections with estimates. Use this company at your own risk and make sure you give detailed instructions or the technicians will do what they want to complete the ticket.

Wesley and Harrison with McNeer Electrical just solved several electrical issues we had at our home! They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Two days ago our power went out. We contacted Swepco and we were told that our underground service was bad and to call an electrician. Having never had a problem with our buried electrical lines I hit the internet and selected McNeer Electrical Contracting. They had a guy out within hours and he gave us an estimate and even helped us get a generator to run our fridge and freezer. The next morning the underground service location girl was here and a by dinner time they had the new service installed and our power was back on. All of the McNeer guys were so professional and helpful I can't say enough about how much we appreciated them. If we ever need electrical work done again this company will be my first call.
