I'm rarely impressed like I was by the service and consideration that Jeff provided. I needed a sewer pump for an uphill system I was putting in, and Jeff came in on a holiday weekend to personally fit all the parts so it was plug and play for me, and was available by text to assist as needed. Everything works perfectly. I'll never go anywhere else with service like that. It's very telling that they have all 5 star reviews (with the exception of one - which seems a little out of character, I wouldn't hold it against them). Thanks guys!

These guys are the absolute worst. The company motto should be: ""Please give us lots of money and if there are problems you are on your own."" They are quick to get off the phone, quick to say nothing is ever their fault, and they are quick to charge lots of money for ""service"". They take no responsibility for anything. They are stubborn as mules. They pretend to know what they are doing but the end result for me was a flooded garage they still tried to charge me for. They sort of get by because there aren't many other choices for this kind of pump work but there are most certainly better options available out there in the area. Do yourself a favor and use a different company.

Great Company. I would highly recommend them. Very Knowledgeable and Professional. They replaced my 2 sewage pumps and did some electrical repair at my house in Bonsall.

VERY expert advice and technical support from staff! These folks speak from experience and know the common pitfalls and issues that can arise from homeowners attempting to solve their own landscape drainage problems. They are very generous in their time and are sincere in their thoroughness. I would definitely recommend them for their expertise.

The short story is that, having noticed a slow leak from a water pressure booster pump, I looked for a pump specialist to check it, expecting it had to be rebuilt or replaced. The pump's current distributor recommended McNamara Pump and Electric in San Marcos CA, and I had one of their people come. After measuring the ""street"" water pressure (finding 60 psi) and asking me how often I heard the booster pump come on (never), he advised that the booster pump was unnecessary and recommended removing it (a big surprise to me). I checked with the Water District about the water pressure supplied in my area and was told it's been 60 psi here for over ten years. So I had the pump removed. The water pressure continues to be fine. I was and still am highly impressed by the knowledgeable advice and courteous service by McNamara Pump and Electric.

I recently had two service calls from McNamara. The first call fixed a broken and leaking check valve, the second was a follow up to replace a lid and shut off valve that was no longer working. This was a task that I did not feel comfortable tackling on my own and I was a little worried that I had some major problems, but McNamara's guys are obviously pros that know what they are doing. Both of the guys that worked on my pump were friendly, courteous, clean and efficient. I appreciate the good work and communication of McNamara's employees and I am confident seeing their quality work and ability to solve any future issues I may have.

My home has a sewage ejector pump which is a fairly specialized area of plumbing. McNamara Pump and Electric specializes in these. I had a line that broke and sewage was spewing. Jaime came out and did an incredible job assessing, diagnosing, explaining, and fixing what needed to be fixed. I was impressed with his polite and friendly manner and his obvious knowledge of my system. He showed and explained every step and decision before going further with the work. I consider the price fair for the large amount or work that was done. He also showed me all of the old parts after their removal. Thank you Jaime!

I am so happy we were referred to McNamaras.
The service was great, saved us from having to stay at a hotel by being able to install septic pumps the same day.
Girls... Don't flush your lady products and those flushable wipes...they aren't flushable either.
All in all the guys were professional and courteous.
We will be referring them to our neighbors.
Thanks again!

We are so happy to have chosen McNamara. We have had such issues with our pump in Green Valley area- which is responsible from essentially getting everything from the original septic to the street. It's quite gross and rarely would I ever write a review on anything of the sort... but these guys rock. Super professional and so reasonable. We will definitely be referring them to clients and neighbors in our area.

So glad I found these guys. I've been living in my house for over 25 years and I have a pump that pumps the sewage from a tank in the backyard up to the front street where the sewer line runs. Over the years the pump has conked out a few times. I ve always called a plumber in the past. The plumber would always take a look at the pump, see that it's not working, and replace it. Some of the plumbers were obviously very unhappy to be working with sewage. One of them (from Coast Plumbing) complained constantly the entire time he was doing the job and kept telling me how he would never be able to get the smell of sewage off his hands. I could never get away for less than $1000. My next-door neighbor, who is a contractor, told me about McNamara. So I thought I would give them a try this time. They showed up right on time. They were friendly and happy to be there. They opened up the tank and quickly diagnosed the problem. It was the check valve that was bad. In the past, I'm sure, the plumber would have probably replaced the pump. It still cost me $630. But it was a lot cheaper than if I had to replace the entire pump and the check valve. I'm going to sign a contract with them to regularly maintain the sump pump. I think it's going to cost me around $130 per year.
