McNamara Electric is dedicated to premium electrical work, serving Napa Valley for 1987. Our portfolio features high-end vineyards such as Sutter Home, Beringer Vineyards, Charles Krug Winery, Quintessa Winery, the Coppola estate, the Trinchero estate, and many others. Owner Bill McNamara offers superior service and strives to wrap up the tasks at hand effectively and with safety in mind. Identifying a good electrician who cares about the task and the client is difficult. Bill takes the thorough route in his projects.

We focus on premium home electrical services as well as business electrical tasks. We handle all types of electrical jobs that necessitate short turnaround times and excellent quality.

Bill McNamara, a licensed electrical contractor since 1976, has been a licensed electrical contractor. Bill's journey began assisting in the family business in Atascadero, California, where his dad established a small family electrical business. When he was 13, Bill wired his initial home and shortly thereafter decided he wanted to create a company of his own. In 1986, and started his contracting career at a race track for seven years called Sears Point, now called Infineon Raceway. As the wine industry in Napa Valley expanded, McNamara Electric also grew. More and more people needed electricians as wineries began to be built. For approximately 15 years, he worked with a trusted electrical contractor when necessary. At present, he focuses on emergency calls and minor projects.

Bill makes his home on a farm in Angwin, CA. He sponsors a community Sprint car racer, Britton Bock. He treats his tasks—whether at work or during his free time—with dedication and gives it his all. He consistently has creative solutions—whether it’s about where to install a light fixture or the best light bulbs to select. Clients frequently say praise, remarking, “What a fantastic idea, Bill!”.
