We offer home and commercial power solutions in Palm Desert, CA and across the Valley. We specialize in maintenance for both business and projects large or small.

We focus on electrical design for new constructions, lighting for landscapes, backup power systems, power relocation, meter upgrades, among other services.

Started in 1966 by Ray McKinzie, Jr., McKinzie Electrical, Inc. started out in the Inland Empire region and was based in Hemet, California for 19 years. In 1988, he moved the operation to the Coachella Valley to take advantage of a growing economy.

In the late '90s, Ray partnered with his offspring Ray McKinzie III. The younger Ray brought years of electrical knowledge and fresh ideas to the company. As the business grew, they became incorporated in 2003, and are recognized as the best electricians in the Palm Desert area and the Coachella Valley.

Ray McKinzie Jr. and the younger Ray established a collaboration in 1997 and formed the company in 2003.
