I made an appointment with McKam a week ahead of time and they scheduled me for a morning time, between 9 and noon. The morning of the appointment I got an email asking for some information about the job and also stating that they had to move my appointment to between 12-3 instead of 9-12. When they had not shown up after 3 o'clock I went ahead and cancelled my appointment.

I had taken the day off to be at home for their workers, and I wasn't notified until the morning of my appointment that the time had changed, and then they didn't even notify me that they couldn't make it by the end of the time they rescheduled me for. I don't know how good or bad their actual work is, but if their customer service is any indication, then proceed with caution.

Wow!! We are beyond satisfied with the electrical services provided to us today!

I called last week and made the appointment for today. James, a licensed electrician and Zane, his apprentice journeyman called and said they could come earlier than our 3 hour window was originally scheduled for. Great!! Come on down!

The switch by our outdoor koi pond kept tripping and turning off the pumps. We temporarily plugged in an extra long extension cord to another outlet as a temporary fix to keep the water moving. The fish depend on aerated water to breathe, so it was important to get this fixed. They installed a new outdoor waterproof plug box that can handle up to 4 plugs. He mounted the new box up on the fence instead of way down on the ground where the original outlet was. So much easier to get to. James also troubleshooted the reason why the outlet was tripping in the first place - it was the old UV light that will need to be replaced!

We also recently purchased some bidet toilet seats and needed outlets installed within a few feet of the toilet. No problem! Zane expertly took care of this for us!

We also had a ceiling light/fan that was incorrectly installed years ago that prevented us from using both at the same time. You either showered in the dark with the fan on or had light but things were steamy and hot and inviting mold! James took great care in finding the root of the problem - a couple of wires were crossed and it was initially installed incorrectly. We had another electrician out a couple years ago to look at it and they just said everything was fine without really looking and finding the issue.

Both James and Zane cleaned up after themselves and worked quickly and professionally. Both were friendly and took the time to explain what was happening in layman's terms.

We feel that they both really went above and beyond taking care of all of our issues!
