We wanted to have recessed lighting installed in our living room and dining room and replace existing light fixtures in the kitchen and laundry. Mike was very professional and easy to work with. He provided a detailed quote and completed the work in 2 days. Each day he came on time and cleaned up throughly. Mike does not do drywall repair and referred us to Frank who also did an excellent job. Overall the price and quality of the work was excellent and I would hire Mike for any electrical needs in the future.

I had a situation where the 110V outlet in my garage which charges my chevy volt got heated and burnt. I called several electricians and could not get a professional response from anyone because they were too busy or did not bother returning calls. However I called Mike directly and he immediately agreed to stop by the next morning to take a look. He kept his word and was able to fix the issue in less than 20 mins. I plan to use his services again to install a 220V charger as well as other things around the house. Thanks Mike for being professional, courteous and keeping your word.

I contacted many electricians to get a quote to have four ceiling fans and outlets, ceiling lights added to my house and perhaps add lights outside the garage. It wasn't till I found and contacted Mike at McGuire Electric that I knew I felt comfortable giving my business to someone that I can trust! We liked him immediately. His inspection of the site was on-time and the estimate for the job was quite reasonable and lower than all the rest. He absolutely answered our calls and answered all questions. When he started the job, he was very professional, courteous and meticulous. He covered all of the working area to keep things clean, used his years of experience and wisdom to only make the minimum cuts that were needed to add new wiring in walls and ceiling. Absolutely amazing how little damage/cuts was done! He never tried to pile on frivolous new work or charges to the job and installed all the needed parts himself so I didn't need to buy anything extra (including light bulbs). Work was done quickly and it's GREAT!!!!! We love it. He also recommended a Sheetrock repair expert that fixed/patched things up cheap as if nothing was ever touched. Great job on his part too.

We have been looking to fix our existing recess lighting which was giving us lot of headache. We got quotes from multiple people. Mike was one of them. He was reasonable and we liked him immediately. He suggested,gave us options and showed samples which none did.We hired him. Mike arrived on time, got the job done quickly, safely and at a very reasonable cost. He did more than we have asked for and changed few more faulty switches , added dimmers along with the work. He gave us a discount for helping him clean along with his work.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Mike McGuire of McGuire Electric.

We had lost power to our porch light and 2 walls in the living room. Mike stopped on short notice on his way home and solved our problem in 30 minutes. He also diagnosed 2 other concerns with outdoor sensor lights so that we could then take care of that simple concern ourselves.

He recommended a timer that would turn our porch light on and off at all times of the year (both regular and daylight saving times) without our ever having to adjust it. He installed it quickly on his way home the following day.

Mike is pleasant, diagnoses and repairs the problem efficiently and quickly and the price was right.

We highly recommend him , as have several of our neighbors, who referred him to us.
