Company Overview

Client satisfaction is our specialty, encompassing budgeting, design, and customizing solutions for their electrical system demands.
At 10 years old, I started my education in the electrical trade under my father's guidance.
I participated in an Electrical apprenticeship from 2008 until 2014, culminating in my graduation and certification as a Journey Man Electrician after passing the state test.
In 2014, I served as an Electrical supervisor at Hillman Electric, and eventually, I chose to start my own Electrical business.

Mark was thorough with the scope of work, courteous, and patient. We had an emergency call on a Sunday and he squeezed us into his day and got us back up and running within a couple of hours. Highly recommend Mark!

When first having Mark inspect my new home, he point out several issues and presented several options. He took the time to make sure that each option was carefully explained and that you understood what was covered. He is super detailed and makes sure to keep you looped in on everything. Once finished he takes the time to go over everything that he has done and how to maintain the work completed. He also planned for the future and accounts for things I might want to do later on. He makes sure to keep the areas he is working in clean and also cleans as he goes.

Mark installed a NEMA 14 outlet for my soon-to-be-delivered EV.
We corresponded over texts, and he guided me through the details of the job. He also sent me a detailed contract, even for a small job such as this one.
Marc takes pride in his work, and made sure that I was satisfied with the job. I'm glad that I have someone reliable for my future electrical needs.

Excellent service. I have an old house and one of the breakers kept tripping. I first spoke to Mark who then had his brother Michael drop by to diagnose. He spent about an hour at my house to see if the problem would replicate and it didn't but he deducted that it was because of the breaker. He came back the next day, replaced the breaker, which fixed the issue.

In a shady industry, dealing with the McGee's was a breath of fresh air. Timely, communicative, very knowledgeable, priced fairly, and efficient. I will definitely be calling them for future electrical work!

Mark was wonderful to work with, would totally recommend his work and we will definitely use him for our future projects. Mark installed canned lights for us in our family room and then also installed a new 40 circuit panel. Quality work and done quickly.

We needed an electric car charger replaced, and Mark provided the most competitive bid, was responsive, showed up on time, and did the job quickly. I would definitely recommend and hire him again.

Mark McGee is fantastic and really knows his stuff. He answered the phone on my first try and squeezed me in same day to help with an outlet and light that weren't working. Mark was able to quickly assess and fix the problem and even told me some very quick and inexpensive things I could do to prevent the problem from happening again. Mark is very nice and a pleasure to work with as well. You will not be sorry!

Our washer broke right after the shelter-in-place order, so we bought a new washer/dryer set. But the delivery people couldn't install the dryer because we had the wrong electrical outlet. Called McGee LeGacy based on Yelp and Nextdoor reviews. Mark answered the phone right away. Said he was busy but would try to squeeze us in at the end of the day. Came out after 5:00 pm and was done in an hour. Very professional! I called several other electricians I found on Yelp. No one else even had the courtesy to return my calls. I guess our small job wasn't worth their time?? Would not hesitate to use him again in the future!

I am so grateful to have found this company. Mark is an amazing Electrician. He is very knowledgeable about his trade and of city codes. He also give you important information about the process and is able to answere an array of questions. I was so pleased that after he finished, I sent out a group text recommending this company. You know someone enjoys their work when they whistle. I highly recommend this company and it will always be my go to for all of my electrical needs.

Mark did a fantastic job of rewiring my knob-and-tube 1920's bungalow and bringing it up to code. He also put in a new subpanel and worked with my numerous and constantly changing requests on breaker switch configuration (thanks Mark!). I would give him 10 stars if I could.

First off, Mark has a great attitude. He's personable, reliable, has a strong work ethic and unmatched integrity. But most importantly, his work is excellent. Did I mention that his work is excellent? He knows city electrical codes forwards and backwards. He passed each and every inspection the first time with no issues. Both my general contractor and the city inspector were impressed with his technical knowledge.

What really made Mark stand out was his willing to help me save money by minimizing damage to my walls. I got quotes from other electricians that basically implied that they were make holes in my walls willy-nilly and that they didn't give a rat's patootie about how much patching I would need to do or pay for later. I'm assuming it's because they can do the work faster if they can tear up your house or because they are not fond of being in attics and crawl spaces.

Well, Mark is not shy about working in attics or crawlspaces. From the beginning, he told me that he would try his best to make as few holes as possible, which I really appreciated. Well, Mark exceeded my xpectations! He was able to rewire all of the old outlets and switches and work including working around metal conduits without creating a single hole in my 1920's lath and plaster walls.

Obviously, every home and every situation is different and nothing is guaranteed. However, I appreciate that he both made the effort and succeeded. A lot of electricians can't be bothered to try.

Mark's prices were fair and more than reasonable. If you get a quote that is cheaper, you should consider the quality of Mark's work (which impacts you and your family's safety, your time because inspections are passed the first time, and your wallet because you won't need to spend as much on patching).
