Have you ever thought about living without electricity? I certainly can't. I began my electrical career in 1995, helping friends and family with small electrical projects. By 1999, I established McCauley Electrical Service, and it has been an incredible journey getting to know my clients and discovering new skills since then. With your support and referrals, I hope to extend this journey for many more years ahead!
I have completed thousands of outlet and lighting control installations in many homes, and every job was different because every customer has their own needs. It’s easy for anyone with a hammer and tools to make a hole in a wall to run wires. However, it takes a professional who respects your home and resources to find the best way to complete the job with minimal disruption to your home and daily routine. I welcome all jobs, but some are certainly too big for me to handle. I will never take on a project that requires more expertise or manpower than I can provide. I will never prioritize a more profitable job over a customer. I hold the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect.

Despite his busy schedule, Patrick McCauley squeezed me in on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend to install a new dining room light fixture at our house.
He was incredibly prompt, arrived just on time, maybe even a few minutes earlier than expected. He provided a courtesy text message to let me know that he's on his way.
The ceiling light fixture took about one hour, and he was very thorough in his measurements which I appreciated. Even though I was his last appointment on a Friday afternoon, he took his time to make sure everything looked great.
I used Yelp and NextDoor to ask around for quotes from electricians in the area. McCauley Electric prices were right in the middle of the pack for a light fixture install, but much more competitive and attractive than some of the more popular electrician companies in the area. I was really hesitant with some of the lower quotes I received as their online reviews were poor.
Overall, we are so pleased with the service we received -- the workmanship quality, timeliness, and the level of communication.

Patrick came and installed a chandelier that was a bit complicated. The manufacturer had sent the bracket with one part installed backwards. He figured this out and got the piece installed. Great to work with. Highly recommended.
Used them today, Patrick was so kind and helpful and willing to come out the same day as when we called- Was very clear with how the billing would go, no surprises which is good, and fixed our electrical problems with no issues.
Quick response and reasonable charge for replacing a bad circuit in my circuit box. Called Patrick on Monday and he was able to do the work on Tuesday, (the very next day). I'll definitely check with him the next time I need any kind of electrical work ie, the ceiling fan I need installed or the sound system of my dreams. Very professional and was glad to explain why the circuit was burned out.
