I have used McCarthy Electric a few times now. Always a great experience. Alan knows his trade and is very easy to work with. He does excellent work. I manage a several properties and McCarthy is my go-to for all matters electrical. If you find yourself needing an electrician, give them a call because you won't be disappointed.

I was looking for a local Costa Mesa Electrian and Fround McCarthy Electric. When I called Alan McCarthy answered the phone, Told me he would come by and look at my job at 2 pm.. he was right on time, Very professional, Told me what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix. He arranged a time to come back, he arrived on time. the job was done . I would Highly recomend McCarthy Electric .

Love this guy! He knows his stuff, that's for sure. We bought a few GFI switches for our remodeled kitchen and installed them ourselves. Well, they kept ""tripping"" and we couldn't figure it out. Called Alan and he came out within a few hours. He explained exactly what we were doing wrong and how it all is supposed to work.

We've since used him for a few other small jobs around the house and we really appreciate his professionalism. Plus, he's reasonably priced too.

He's starting to talk about retiring but we think we'll have him around for several more years. We hope so anyway.

We've found our electrician-guy. We ain't goin' anywhere else. We're sticking with Alan McCarthy.
