I do NOT recommnend this company. I was willing to overlook the following: No one answered the phone when I originally called to make an appointment. The company didn't call me back when I called and left a message to make an appointment. M Brey Electric called to say the electrician would be delayed about an hour before my appointment, but when I rescheduled they forgot to put in my appointment so no one showed at my scheduled time.
This is what I am not willing to overlook: John was asked to come to my house because M Brey Electric made a mistake and failed to schedule an appointment for me. John gave me a look when I attempted to follow him to the fuse box. News flash, John, everyone knows to try to reset the breakers before calling an electrician, you are not giving away any trade secrets. He scoffed when he saw a bush under the breaker box, even though I had spent the morning chopping down that bush so it would be easier for him to have access to the box and he was able to reach it with no problem. I told John my house had a lot of items in the livingroom because I am a teacher and all of the items in my whole classroom had to be taken home because I was asked to move to a different classroom just before summer break but the classroom I was moving to was going to be used by a teacher for summer school. There was also alot of things in my living room because a relative who was living with me just got married and she was in the process of moving out of my house. At least 3 times I caught John just standing there looking at the stuff I had in the livingroom for a very long time. One time I caught him looking over at the stuff in my bedroom for longer than an average person would look. I went over and closed the door! He was extremely nosey and even went into my garage and left the door open. He told me he left his machine at home and had to leave for a short time to go get it, which took him more than an hour. When finally got back, he sat in his vechicle speaking really loud (I could actually hear his converstation) to a friend (about 15 minutes) instead of coming in and getting work done. He claimed he could not find the reason my the lights in my bathroom would not come on but right when he was able to bill me for an additional hour he miraculously found the source of the problem and fixed it within a few minutes. All of the light switches that he had unscrewed were put back on crooked. He told me my lights were fixed and that I could get up on a ladder myself and change the light bulb (myself!) to see that it worked. He also wasted time by telling me he needed to switch the long screws in my light switches with shorter screws! He went back and forth to his truck looking for the right screws. I mean what a con artist! He also wasted time by telling me jokes and stories. His last story was how his wife had too much stuff and how he told her she needed to get rid of her stuff and stop buying things! His job was to come to my house, behave like a professional and leave. When he left I felt like I let the devil into my house.

I made an appointment to have a minor electrical repair. The electrician just never showed up, and I never got a call from their office. When I called the next day to find out what happened, they said their system was down and weren't able to contact me.
Made a new appointment. Driver didn't come again. Didn't get a phone call, again. When I called back to figure out what happened, they advised me to just find another electrician. Never called me to give me a heads up.
It's gotta be a mess over there, if they're recommending you find one of their competitors. Don't waste your time. Unprofessional and bad business.

Joe did a great job of installing our pendant lights. The company notified us what time he would arrive,m. The company is dependable and reliable. We had two pendant light installed and Joe did a professional job. The only complaint we would have is the cost, over $800. We should have asked for an estimate before he started the job, but that is our fault. If you use this company make sure you know how much it will cost you up front.

Joe from M Brey Electric showed up at my place a few minutes early. He checked my situation and went to work. Very efficient. Suggested I convert my burned out fluorescent kitchen lights to LED. He clipped a few wires, installed LED bulbs and I was back in business. I would strongly recommend M Brey Electric for household electrical repair.

I wish I can give this company zero stars.
I reached out to them and secured and appointment for a 1:30pm visit. They assured me that they definitely can send out a technician to help with my electrical problem.
3 pm and they still have not shown up at my property. I then reach out to them and the female operator apologizes and told me that she will look into the issue and see why my Technician was not at my house.
According to her, the tech was called away for an emergency service with a mall that they hold an account with and that was why he never came to my house.
This company is AWFUL at communicating with their customers and apparently they also are awful at communicating and coordinating with one another. She told me that the field techs do not communicate with the office people as to where and when they would be at a location. If I didn't follow through, I would have waited at home all day and no one would've shown up.
The worst part is that if the company would have communicated with me, I would've been able to get another company to come out.
Now, I get to sit and stare at dead fish in my aquariums because they failed to uphold their appointment with clients and fail to schedule and communicate properly .
There are plenty of other reliable electricians who will take care of your needs.
Don't let this company stand you up and have you scrambling around

John came through for me again. He added lights to the front of my house, didn't make a huge mess, and explained everything he did when he was finished. He also had an apprentice put up some smoke detectors throughout my house and clean up some exposed wires. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We asked M Brey Electric for an estimate for the installation of four (4) motion sensing cameras/floodlights, Ring brand products, and one (1) Ring brand doorbell. They sent one technician over who took photographs of the areas where the installations were needed and said that he would turn in the information and that we would receive an estimate in several days. We received our estimate after the Labor Day holiday and it was more that fair. We made an appointment to have the equipment installed. Frank showed up on time as scheduled and had the work completed in the time that was stated when we made the appointment. Frank was courteous, reviewed what was to be done and where it was to be installed. He finished on time, made sure everything was in working order and left no mess behind. We highly recommend M Brey Electric for any electrical project and will use them in the future as they are true professionals.

Now I see why these guys get five star ratings.... they are good. Had to have a new plug outlet put in for our wall mount TV and Jay did an awesome job. He was very professional, clean & detailed on what has to be done as he installed a new plug outlet. We will definitely use them again.

John at M Brey came by to give me a quote on recessed lights throughout my home as well as install some security cameras I had purchased. The quote was very reasonable compared to others I had out and some of the quotes were not even by qualified electricians. When it comes to electricity its not worth the risk, especially in my case running power through my attic with cellulose insulation, I won't take that risk with my family. Support local and give them a call. Excellent job John, Thank you!!!

My husband and I have used John at M Brey Electric 4 or 5 times in the past year to replace old and outdated fixtures to LED and he always does a wonderful job and the price is fair. Sometimes we have to wait several days to get him here but well worth the wait for quality repairs and great customer service. We highly recommend this company to others.
