We recently moved into a brand new house & needed several electrical projects done that the builder wouldn't do before closing: hanging high ceiling fans, light dimmer switches, light fixture upgrades, timers on light switches, etc. I contacted Max Electrical Services after reading numerous 5-star reviews, along with a couple of other companies who also got great reviews, with a detailed list of services needed. Darin was the only one who emailed me back the same day & he set an appointment to come to my house to evaluate what was needed before giving me his bid. Several days later one of the others sent an email with their hourly rate & guessing the hours needed, never heard back from anyone else. I had already purchased the fans, switches, & fixtures, and it didn't matter to them that they didn't sell them. DJ & his crew were here a few days later exactly on time, & would have had everything completed in one day if a couple of the fan down-rods hadn't been shipped wrong. A couple of weeks later when I received the correct down-rods I emailed Darin, & he had DJ & the crew here the very next day to complete the job...with no additional ""trip charge"" even though the delay was not their fault. They were very professional & friendly, worked quickly & thoroughly, were prompt & on-time, and they had everything they needed with them, including their own ladder to reach a 20-ft ceiling. I have complete confidence in everything they did. They didn't just install, they also took the time to explain how everything worked, even the remotes for the fans. I will not hesitate to call Max Electrical whenever I need an electrician in the future. If you want it done promptly, professionally, & at a fair price, give Darin & DJ a call, you won't be disappointed.

Although I didn't end up using Max Electrical Services (it ended up being HVAC problem), Darin and his customer service is review-worthy. Darin provided 5 star customer service with a prompt response before 9am on a Monday. He was clear and up front in the service that he would provide and the fees. I have saved Max Electrical Services for if ever I need their help!

Excellent service! Arrived on time and knew what they were doing. Didn't charge for work that couldn't be completed (due to someone else's shoddy install and faulty equipment), and they were very reasonable in pricing and offering cost-effective suggestions for future repair.

Awesome service!

I put out my yelp request to 3 electrical contractors at around 5:00pm on a Thursday, for some minor electrical work (installation of a new chandelier and two dimmer switches). Darin was the 2nd to respond in about 15 minutes (the 1st to respond was a ""sorry I'm too busy"" from another contractor). Communication was great and I was very surprised and impressed when he said he could come out that Saturday morning. He said he would be here by 8:00am, and pulled up around 7:55. He was very knowledgeable and efficient and had everything done in about an hour! I was very pleased with his work and was really thankful to get it all taken care of 1st thing Saturday morning-- it didn't interrupt my usual weekend plans! Highly recommend!! I will definitely reach out to Darin first, next time I have the need for any electrical services!

Extremely competent, professional and helpful. No personality drama from technicians. No up-selling. I'm a homeowner, and Darin, the owner and senior technician, stepped in to assess some sub-par electrical work and make recommendations. He seemed to honestly and accurately assess the current work and made recommendations to get us where we needed to be. Accessible, flexible and quick turn-around. Needed a professional, and that's what Max Electrical provided. Everything about this experience was top notch. Contacted the company through their web page, describing my situation. I received a reply and was able to schedule service at a time that fit my schedule. I was told up front what the cost would be to review the situation that I ""repaired"". Darin arrived on time, addressed issues and was able to get my porch ready for new light fixture.

While this was not a emergency service (this time) I know who I will call should I have an electrical emergency (or create one).

Great service, great results, and great price.

I requested a quote on Yelp. Darin responded in minutes with a clear and competitive quote. I agreed and he said his guys could be out there 8am the next day - perfect!

DJ shows up - at 8am on the dot. He was exceptionally professional, did an excellent job and ended up charging me a few bucks less than the original quote!

A great result and I will definitely be using Max Electrical again next time I have any electrical work needs.

Honest. Reliable. Affordable. Darin has helped us with two issues so far in our home.
