Mario has been nothing but professional from the beginning of the project to the end (some of the job had to wait for drywall to be installed and they will be back to finish.) He arrived on time for him to see the space and provide an estimate, which was a fair price. Mario and his team arrived at the agreed-upon time and got to work. Jose was great, too! Jose rewired our new master bathroom expertly! I would not hesitate to contact Mata Electric for any future electrical needs. I would also not hesitate to refer him to anyone I know needing an electrician.

The owner called back saying his rate is $150/hour during normal business hours, it's $300 to fix a light switch that wouldn't turn off the bathroom light.. then he hung up on me while I wanted to understand why he knew it would take 2 hours... really weird.

I needed GFCIs installed as the last step of my kitchen remodel. I am (gasp!) doing this with a proper building permit and would not pass inspection with the regular outlets installed by the prior electrician. Not a huge job but one that I wanted to get done ASAP so I can call for the final inspection and finish the project. I contacted Maya thru Yelp hoping to set up an appointment the following week. Instead, he asked for a phone call and after discussing the situation for a few minutes, he said that he would be out the next day. Sure enough, the 2-man team arrived the next day, gave me a very fair price, and completed the job within the hour. They made sure that all the details of what the inspector will want to see were in place. What can I say - they exceeded every expectation on commitment, price, and quality of service. Definitely top of my list for all future electrical work!
