Oscar started out good but when there are problems he does not answer his phone. He wired up a shop but the fans only works on reverse because I would guess they were wired wrong but he does not want to fix it after he got paid. Thought he was better but guess not. I will file with the state contractors board for a fix that could have been taken care of if his son Justin would have wired it up right.

First things first: Oscar provided excellent service. He obviously knows electrical issues like I know how to breathe, and his fee was quite fair.

Plus, I really get a kick out of the guy. It's a little like a Nick Nolte character showing up at you house to fix your problems. I enjoyed talking to him so much that I've been tempted to invent electrical problems to report. However, I eventually remember that I'm retired and that to do so would be financially irresponsible.

Oscar and his son Justin really take care of you. We recently just bought a house here in Chico and needed a few electrical changes and issues fixed. They came in and (1) installed five new recessed lights in our kitchen, (2) wired a new plug below the sink for our new dishwasher, (3) turned a single plug into a duel for our washer/dryer, (4) installed some new GFI plugs that weren't working, (5) routed two new plugins in our bedroom, and (6) fixed one of our breakers that was broken. I called Oscar, told him I needed all this done and he had his crew out the next day! Awesome guys to work with and honest. I highly reccomend them for any of your electrical needs. Thanks Oscar, Justin and crew! ... Will be hiring you guys again for sure!

We hired Master Electric to wire our metal shop after it was re-built due to a fire. The work seems fine until the first storm in October 2016 when we connected our generator which Master's employees wired the plug to the house but they wired it wrong. The result was our stove, microwave, TV, DVD and alarm clocks were shorted out. We call the owner, Oscar Kramp, and he came to the house to review the work and problem. He said he didn't remember he or his employees wiring for the generator and said he could see it was wired wrong. He said he would not warranty the work that he didn't remember doing and that he didn't like our attitude so he said we could take him to court.

Apparently, his employees are not qualified to do a simple generate hook-up so I question the rest of the work now. While Oscar was at our house he kept saying that he wouldn't have done the work that way, but he didn't do the work as he wasn't on the job much. His employees did the work and clearly he didn't check their work or test the generator.

So this is a reminder to get everything in writing because he didn't detail the generator work on his estimate so we are stuck with replacing our appliances. We would not recommend Master Electric and would not trust his employees to do the work correctly.

Lesson learned this time.

I highly recommend these guys. Fast, friendly and professional. We had some issues with outlets not working in our kitchen and they found the problem quickly and also checked the rest of the house at our request to look for other problems.
