Martin was on his way home and took 1 more customer for the day at 3pm. He arrived at 7pm at our home which our family was very happy about and I felt so clueless but made the experience painless. 5/5 nice guy would recommend to anybody. I will probably get an ac upgraded in the future to save money on the electricity bill from the same company.

Don't write reviews often, but wanted to share the extremely positive experience we had with Martin's Electrical and Lighting company. After purchasing an electric vehicle in December, we've been patiently waiting for SCE to announce the next round of incentives for installing a home EV charger via the Charge Ready program. That announcement finally came (please visit evrebates.sce.com/homeinstallation), with the standard rebate program offering up to $500 towards the electrical upgrades required for a Level 2 EV charging station. We contacted Martin, the owner, over the weekend; had him provide a quote on Monday, and he promptly started the permitting process on Tuesday. Complete job was finished on Wednesday. Martin's pricing was highly competitive, and he even went the extra mile to ensure city permits were pulled in order to meet SCE's rebate requirement (note: other electricians that provided bids said the permit process would add significant time and cost -- which wasn't true in this case). Martin and his crew showed up on time, were highly professional, and did an excellent job installing the new 50A circuit per our requirements. In addition, Martin went the extra mile to provide additional documentation to support the SCE rebate requirements so we could file our application in a timely manner. Look no further than Martin's Electrical!

Being a 1st home owner , I pray and hope to meet honest quality people to help with projects on my new home.

Martin came to my home ( 2 hours late)
Came off honest and did replace electrical breakers he said was the problem; $260

He sold me on knowing other professionals who could help with other projects and I was thrilled! That was short lived!

I texted over a week ago and have yet to hear from him or even a simple acknowledgement.

Martin was to provide an estimate on redoing my living room, kitchen and back area lighting.

Thank God this red flag came up before I got mid way into a project.

I manage a Self Storage,....And We Needed to replace our old Landscape lights...So I interviewed 3 or 4 Contractors and ask questions...But Martin had the best Idea...He suggested we Convert our existing light Boxes into J-Boxes thereby eliminating the need to Install new J-boxes for our new lighting.....Saving us a lot of $....
He also, Converted some of our other Landscape lights to LED, saving us more $ on our light bills....
He came when he was scheduled ...Had 4 or 5 workers Knocked it out in one day!
That was about Five months Back! No problems to date,,The lights look great at night!
I would recommend Martin to any who ask!

Martin and his employee showed up on a Saturday to look at the job of installing a Whole House Fan. That afternoon I had a quote by email. The job was a difficult one because attic space was so small and they needed to install vents for the attic. We picked a date and start time and they arrived 5 minutes ahead of time. The job was completed quickly and efficiently.

What more can I say he was responsive, took on a difficult job, completed it and cleaned up afterwards.

I have called Martin to install additional lights for my dining room on 07/08/2017, Has been texting regarding the the project, Martin is trying to hard sell the expensive retrofit LED lights, and after I insist to install the screw in recessed lights, Martin stopped texting me and ignored my text and call afterwards on 07/11/2017.

They only want to rip you off and they only want big projects to make more profit.

Unless you are rich and don't care about wasting money, otherwise, it is better off to find a more reputable electrician,

He replaced my electric panel for a reasonable price and did not up and extra the job.

We have used Martin's services at two houses now. He is phenomenal. At our first house he upgraded our electric panel installed new outlets in the kitchen and installed the electrical for an A/C unit.

At our second house he installed recessed lighting in the family room. The most impressive part is that he installed an outlet four our TV on our stone fireplace. He ran into trouble but overcame everything and did a fantastic job not just installing the outlet for the TV but mounting the 55"" TV.

Today he's wrapping up installing outlets and security lighting we brought him back to do for us.

Overall Martin is Honest, Trustworthy, Dependable and knows his stuff. I highly recommend him and his team.

I upgraded the lights in my kitchen (circa 1974) and wanted a ceiling fan and security lights installed. Based upon my neighbor's recommendation Martin's Electrical & Lighting Company was one of the companies I called for a quote.

Martin reviewed the electric panel, the kitchen ceiling, made some recommendations concerning locations of lights, automatic switch light in the powder room, outside security lights, additional work that would need to be done (drywall and paint) and wrote up the quote with a schedule.

I asked him for a few recommendations for drywall and paint repair and he was able to recommend a few people that came out to give quotes.

Martin was the only electrician that had indicated he would pull the permits with the City. His work was quick and clean, and he coordinated with the drywall and paint contractors for the City's inspections.

I did not need to clean up after him as I have with other contractors I've used. I also had a family emergency during the time he was working in the kitchen and I left him my house key. He finished the work for the day, fed my cat, and cleaned and locked up.

I recommend him to my family and friends. Those that have used him were satisfied with his professional work and demeanor.

Since the larger job of the lights and ceiling fan have been completed, I've also had him install a new thermostat when I couldn't get the old one off the wall without damaging the wall. Again, Martin was quick and worked around my schedule.

When almost a year later one of the security lights failed, Martin quickly replaced it and without charge.

I've been very happy with his service.
