Martin and crew, (Joey, Alex and Tom) did a wonderful job with a whole house electrical upgrade. Martin worked with the City of Pasadena obtaining permits and communicating with the Water and Power Dept.
The crew was professional, competent and respectful of me and the property. I had to leave several times and at the end if the day they cleaned up and locked up the house. I was very comfortable leaving the house with them working. They were all very trustworthy.

Martin is always quick to return any phone calls about concerns or questions. He and his crew made the process very unstressful.
I highly recommend Martin Electric to anyone needing any kind of electrical work done.

Martin's Electrical & Lighting Company did such a great job at our house. I picked this company due to the positive Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. We needed some lights installed; an outdoor lamp post, two outdoor post lights, and a flood light that needed to be controlled by a switch. A crew of four showed up on time, Martin was one of them. They started working immediately, they were polite and professional. They gave us great input on how certain lights should be installed too. The flood light that they installed was a motion sensor flood light that ended up being faulty, this was a product issue, not an installation issue. I bought another one and called Martin back to and he sent one of his guys out to swap it out and didn't even charge us. We're really happy with their service and will be referring them out to our friends and family.

He arrived at 7pm at our home which our family was very happy about and I felt so clueless but made the experience painless. 5/5 nice guy would recommend to anybody. Don't write reviews often, but wanted to share the extremely positive experience we had with Martin's Electrical and Lighting company. After purchasing an electric vehicle in December, we've been patiently waiting for SCE to announce the next round of incentives for installing a home EV charger via the Charge Ready program. That announcement finally came (please visit evrebates.sce.com/homeinstallation), with the standard rebate program offering up to $500 towards the electrical upgrades required for a Level 2 EV charging station. We contacted Martin, the owner, over the weekend; had him provide a quote on Monday, and he promptly started the permitting process on Tuesday. Complete job was finished on Wednesday. Martin's pricing was highly competitive, and he even went the extra mile to ensure city permits were pulled in order to meet SCE's rebate requirement (note: other electricians that provided bids said the permit process would add significant time and cost -- which wasn't true in this case). Martin and his crew showed up on time, were highly professional, and did an excellent job installing the new 50A circuit per our requirements. In addition, Martin went the extra mile to provide additional documentation to support the SCE rebate requirements so we could file our application in a timely manner. Look no further than Martin's Electrical!

Being a 1st home owner , I pray and hope to meet honest quality people to help with projects on my new home.

Martin came to my home ( 2 hours late)
Came off honest and did replace electrical breakers he said was the problem; $260

He sold me on knowing other professionals who could help with other projects and I was thrilled! That was short lived!

I texted over a week ago and have yet to hear from him or even a simple acknowledgement.

Martin was to provide an estimate on redoing my living room, kitchen and back area lighting.

Thank God this red flag came up before I got mid way into a project.
