Yea, pretty sketchy. Younger group of ""electricians"". I verified through the ""One Stop Shop"" that I needed a certified electrician and a permit to add a breaker and dig underground for a pool pump. They told me they don't need a permit, they could add the breaker no problem, and quoted me a little less than $2k.
After talking to a more experienced electrician, he told me the current fuse panel was not to code and he'll have to do the math to see if we can add a breaker with our current panel. After he researched and asked for the manual for the pool pump, and fixed the current panel to code, we had enough amperage left to add a breaker. Oh yea, quoted for a little less than $1k. Always go with the more experienced and honest people, they're actually looking out for your safety and their rapport.

lIES A LOT ABOUT EVERYTHING! Contacted thru Angie's list. He came to our house and gave us a very high quote to replace some defective wall switches. Wife said ""No"". He called back three times lowering his price. Told us he would replace the defective switches with a better-quality switch he had in the warehouse, give us a five-year warranty and a price for about half his first estimate and install then in 2 days. He showed up with a box of new switches and installed them. Left a mess on the floor by each switch. He installed a switch at the end of a hallway that needed a three way switch but told us to leave the power on for a while until the switch reset and it would work correctly. We did as he said but it never reset. I removed the cover plate and it wasn't the correct switch. In fact, it was a low cost cheap quality single throw switch. I tried to contact him on the phone three times and he hung up when I told him who I was. The quality of his work was poor. I had to replace some cover plate screws that he didn't install. Found them on the floor after cleaning up. This guy was dishonest and only cared about getting the money and not the quality of his work. Don't use him for anything!

I had called about my circuit breaker. The electrician kept calling to set up an appointment and finally came to look at it he said it was free consultation. He told me what I needed and that he would come back the next day to ""help me out"" with the circuit breaker and use the payment towards the work I need which was 225.00. When I called him the next day at 430 the time he said he would be at my house, he said he was still working. I called again at 630 he was still working that he would call back he never did. By 8pm his phone was off. I called the next morning and when I told him my name he hung up on me. Do NOT recommend these people at all. I feel so taken advantage of..more like ripped off. I'm down 225.00 with nothing fixed and have to look for someone else. I would give zero stars but it doesn't let me
