We received exceptional service from owner, Efren Martinez and his crew with MARTINEZ ELECTRIC! Super responsive, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Efren replied quickly to my request for a quote and was ready to work as agreed, we felt his prices were more reasonable than other quotes we received. He thought he was coming out to fix a major problem but Efren recognized that a simpler solutions was appropriate. If you are looking for a professional that will be on time, communicate clearly, complete the work exactly as agreed, and provide a level of service rarely found these days, we highly recommend Efren for your electrical needs. I found Efren on Yelp a couple of years ago. Great reviews made it easy for me. Reasonable price and estimate was fair for the work. He and his crew removed a meter spot from one side of the house to the other. Arranged the permits, passed inspection. Great Job! On time. Professional.
Two weeks later we had him redo the entire electrical rewire on our tenants house. Arranged permits, passed inspection and done in a timely manner.
Honestly, I wish I had more work for him. I'll find something.

I reached out to Martinez Electric upon seeing their amazing reviews. We had another electrician come out the day prior and they were here about 2 hours and couldn't figure out what it was so they offered to schedule another 4-6 hour in depth diagnostic which was tremendously expensive. On the other hand Mr. Martinez and his employee took about an hour and solved our problem efficiently and effectively. Our power went out and we had no idea where it was. After he inspected the panel,attic, and outlets thoroughly it led him to the problem area which happened to be an outlet where there in fact was power. We are so thankful that Mr. Martinez took care of us. Our whole house could've caught on fire due to this faulty outlet. We definitely recommend Martinez Electric to anyone looking to get electrical work done.

I made a Yelp account just to give Martinez Electric a 5-star review. These guys are the real thing: they do excellent work, they show up on time, they charge reasonable prices, they explain the work they're doing, and they will come back out and check on any job if there is an issue. They've done a few jobs for me in the past year or so and I am always really happy, and reassured, by the work they do and the way they treat me. I deal with a lot of handyman, plumbers, and other craftspeople and know how hard it is to find someone you totally trust and feel confident calling when you have an issue. I feel that way about Martinez Electric, and won't hesitate to call them about any electrical issue. Trust me on this one.

I arranged for service at my Mom's home because she was having trouble with some outlets in the kitchen. The electrician showed up and had everything resolved within 20 minutes. The initial estimate of $240 via Yelp messaging considered more complicated possible solutions. After my Mom was charged $240 for just 20 minutes of work, she told them that she thought that was expensive. I agreed and complained. After some back and forth, I appreciated their concern for our satisfaction, and we settled on a charge of $100, rather than $240. I would have awarded 5 stars for their service, if I didn't need to argue for what I thought was fair. Still, I will say they were on time and did quality work.
