My aunt, who is 81 years old and lives in Los Angeles, called me in a panic because she had outlets that had suddenly stopped working in her home. She had other people coming to do some work in her home the next day that would need electricity to do their jobs. I checked out the reviews for several companies on yelp and decided to give Martinez Electric a call. I spoke with Efren who could not come that very day but said he could be there the next morning.

Efren was on time and my aunt (who is hard of hearing and can be difficult to please at times) was very impressed with his professionalism. He figured out the problem and addressed it within a half hour of his being at her residence. She found him to be extremely courteous and responsive to her questions. He did not charge a service fee for coming out and what he did charge for his services was very reasonable. Of course she was happy and plans on using him at her other properties when the need arises.

I usually drive in to be at the house with her and my 104 year old grandmother whenever workers are there. This is because they sometimes tend to overcharge and take advantage of the elderly by advising of unnecessary repairs. I couldn't be there this particular day so Efren contacted me to let me know what was needed. When the job was completed we spoke again. I appreciated how he worked so well with my aunt who continues to rave about how much she liked him. Great Job Efren and it was a pleasure!

I am glad the father and son Martinez are available on Sunday to fix an emergency for me. Thanks for being so helpful and proactive in providing info and recommendations. I would like to see more of family at work to help a lady in need on Sunday- family time. I think I texted and called on unholy hour even. Do not remember the time for electricity went out.

Efren (sp?) was terrific. He & his team are professional, reasonably priced, and prompt. They do good work and charge a very reasonable rate.

Great service and affordable.

I wanted to feel safe moving my little daughter into a home that my in-laws had been remodeling, so I looked around on Yelp for electricians. Martinez Electric was able to come in the next morning for a quote on installing GFCI outlets around the house and re-doing the spider's nest of old garage outlet wiring a previous owner had put in. The job was done the same day in a professional manner and at a very reasonable price for the amount of time they put in. I'd definitely recommend anyone contact them if you've got old wiring that needs getting up to date on a budget.

We were out of electricity on the evening of December 23rd, while hosting a family dinner. I immediately began searching on Yelp for an electrician who served the Alhambra area. I found Martinez Electric who had very good reviews and decided to call him. He immediately called me back on the morning of December 24th, however we had somewhat fixed our electrical outage. Later on that day our lights throughout the house began to flicker and to our dismay learned from a family member that we had to replace the electrical panel. So we decided to call back Efran on December 25th to find out if he would be able to help us. To my surprise, he called back within a few minutes on Christmas Day!!! He came to give us a very reasonable quote on the morning of December 26th and we decided to give him the job. Efran said he would do the job on Friday, December 28th and got all the proper permits with the city of Alhambra prior to starting the job. He promptly started on the early morning of 12/28 and finished the same day with a crew of 3 without minimal breaks. He finished replacing our electrical panel the same day, which to us was amazing!!! He performed a very clean and exceptional job. He also recommended a few other things that we should do to our newly purchased house. We highly recommend Efran and team. They are very punctual, quick, neat, and have very reasonable pricing !!!

I had bough some USB power outlets that I wanted installed in my home. So I called Martinez Electric and Efren came out and tried to install the product that I had purchased. However, because I have an older home, the USB power outlets did not fit! So Efren gave me several option. 1. Remove the original power outlet (huge holes and plastering afterwards, 2. choose another location in the house (more holes and plastering), or 3. return the item and get my $$$ back. He told me that I was better off buying a power surge with a usb connection. So, I chose the latter. He then went ahead and removed my old power outlets and replaced them with some up-to-date ones. He was very honest and eventhough he could have completed the job, charged me an arm and a leg, he did not. Instead he just replaced the old with the new. Thank you Martinez Electric for taking care of your customers.

I was desperate. I live in an older duplex and our electricity went out in the kitchen and various other outlets. I needed someone quickly because my food in the fridge would spoil. I called Efran, he said he was at a job but that he could come over if I didn't mind if it was after 7pm. I said no problem. He was here, he fixed the problem and it didn't cost me a mortgage payment! He and his son are professional and friendly and he is now my electrician. I'm calling him now to do some work at my parents home

Man, these guys are fantastic. I needed some rewiring done during construction in my loft- an ancient building with some really weird wiring. I found them on Yelp, gave them a ring, and they were at my place for an estimate two hours later.

Scouting the job, they were very attentive to detail. I got price quotes from multiple electricians, and they came in the cheapest. They did the job the following morning, quick and easy. Prompt, polite, thorough, and affordable- exactly what I was looking for.
