I of Martin The Electrician, received an Associate degree in Electrical Technology from Los Angeles Trade Technical College with excellent grades. An additional certificate was granted by Los Angeles Trade Technical College for exceptional work. Membership in trade organizations and continuing education ensures our skills up-to-date with the newest technology.

My path in the electrical field was started while working as lead maintenance in an apartment building. Overseeing the work of electricians kindled an interest that led to studying at the college in the city.

Raised in the county of Los Angeles, I hold membership in the Japan Karate Federation. Also, I serve as a member of the Seiwakai Karate Federation. In my role as an assistant karate instructor at Norwalk Self Defense Academy Seiwakai, I maintain firm ties in the city of Cerritos, now living in the city of Norwalk. Education has been local schools and colleges. I choose to work locally, knowing the community is welcoming, especially when neighbors are frequently seen.

I called to make an appointmentt for an estimate and was asked for my address, but no one every showed or called to cancel or reschedule. Poor customer service. I even called back and no return call.

I guess business must be good for these guys. I left a very detailed description of what I needed on their voicemail today, and I didn't get so much as a response that they couldn't do the work. So much for 5 stars and great customer service. Fortunately, the contractor from Norwalk La Mirada Plumbling who remodeled our bathroom was able to refer me to someone at 4:45pm. That fellow called me back 10 minutes later and personally came to my house right after dinner to inspect the job and give me an estimate. He'll be back in the morning to do the job.

Called the number. Made an appointment. Waited for the guy to show up, but he was a no-show. I called him, no answer. Sent him a text message, no respnse. Left a message, no return message.

Unreliable service. Call someone who will actually get the job done!!

Martin (Armando) helped me out in several areas, where my remodeling contractor could not.

He solved the problem of AFCI breakers tripping. Faults were in multiple areas, and Armando took the time and effort to debug.

He installed some extra power outlets in the garage. Good craftsmanship. Quality work. Some people can do it sloppy but to code. Armando takes the time to do it right.

He repositioned some electrical outlets in a bathroom which were in odd places.

Per my request, he took out, checked, and tidied up every single switch and outlet in the house to make sure everything was clean and tight, to minimize any sparks, etc. He found a few bad installations, and fixed as needed.

Many electricians know what to do for a good job. Armando knows how to do it as well, with good care and quality. He's also honest, and prices are reasonable. Some things may take longer than expected, but he'll stick to his bid.

The only downsides? With his positive Yelp reviews, he's been more busy lately, so it's hard to fit in his schedule. I won't ding him for that. Hire him if he's available. It's worth the call.

Honest Guy!... had an issue with no power to half of my house...Martin came out and informed me it was an Edison issue. I called Edison and they came and fixed it for free. I highly recommend Martin.

I will keep this short and sweet. Great service, reasonable prices, and expert knowledge. This guy came to my house on a Sunday afternoon after calling him Sunday morning! All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!

3 electricians from Martin The Electrician looked at our box and said it was fine and then took 2 hours to check all the fixtures, outlets, switches and couldn't find the problem. They were going to return today to check the attic. When they began troubleshooting, the proprietor suggested we get our whole house rewired.

Thank goodness another electrician who charges $25 an hour LESS was referred to us, so we asked him to come today instead. He found the problem in our box in the first 10 minutes. He also said that we didn't need to rewire our house.

The guys who work for Martin The Electrician are all very nice, but we're glad we decided to go with the other guy and wish we had heard of him first.

I wish we could get a refund from Martin The Electrician.

He's a great honest guy! I called him to install an outlet for our dryer. It took him half the day to find the right breaker, then even came back out to test said breaker if it was working properly because the heating element burned out, but that was another issue altogether. I highly recommend him and he has very fair prices!

It was this past Sunday when my dumb boyfriend decided to fix the electrical outlet himself, but ended up knocking out all the power. We called Armando and in less then 10 minutes he was knocking on our front door. We then found out that he stayed until the job was done even though he was on his way to fix the power at his families' home when we had called. So if that isn't great service then I'm not really sure what is. Also he gave us the best price especially with such fast service.
