I don't post a lot on Yelp but when it's warranted, I will. Well, my experience with Mark and his crew was definitely warranted. We've needed new lights in our kitchen for quite some time but I was a little reluctant because of some of the horror stories I've heard about with some electricians. Then, the pandemic hit and it put some things on hold. My wife has been bugging me to get these lights taken care of so I finally called Mark last week to get an estimate, he came out and gave an affordable and competitive quote. Followed up with me a couple of days later to schedule an appointment, arrived on time, with masks on and ready to go. Mark and crew are outstanding. He and his co-worker, O.B., were extremely friendly, professional and affordable. They installed 13 new lights in no time and even went the extra mile on a couple of miscellaneous things. I simply cannot recommend him enough. We are extremely pleased with the results. Mark and his partner are excellent!
He responded quickly to my call and made room for my job in his busy holiday schedule the next day.

I had him put in a couple of gfci outlets in my yard
for Christmas lights.
At first I was thinking of installing four in total and although that would have meant a bigger payday, Mark suggested I save money by running a fifty foot extension cord instead.
That kind of honesty rarely exist theses days.
It was refreshing and earned him my business moving forward.

Mark was great! Came over, short notice, same morning, and even though I couldn't use him for the job, he still took the time to check things out and walk me through the best courses of action, as well as the dangers of certain actions... he didn't even want payment from me, but I wanted to give him some for being so nice, helpful and honest -- will definitely use him whenever I need electrical help!

First off, Mark Bangert is very responsive to texts and/or phone messages. We first had him give us a quote on a Ring security system prior to the Covid lockdown. After waiting (our choice) a couple of months due to social distancing, Mark returned wearing a mask and professionally installed two cameras and helped us link them to our cell phones. Further, he changed out every recessed light fixture in our house to the much more efficient and attractive LED. My husband and I found Mark to be very flexible and accommodating as our requests kept coming (replacing outdoor light fixtures and adding a couple of outdoor lights for those summer evenings we spend on our patio). His pricing is fair and he never tries to up-sell. I would recommend Bangert Electric without question!

I can't say enough about Mark Bangert. We called him last week as we had an electrical problem and our a/c was out. I think it was a Sunday so he said he'd come by first thing Monday morning. He did and took one look at the problem and said it was a DWP issue and to call them right away. I tried to pay him for his time but he wouldn't accept. How refreshing and he will definitely be the electrician of choice next time I need one! He even called back to make sure we were taken care of. Great guy!

We had Mark and his assistant replace an outlet the other day. It was behind our built-in and our big tv. They figured out the best way to tackle it, moved everything out of the way and had everything replaced and hooked back up in less than an hour. They were super nice and knowledgeable. Fantastic! We wanted to add lights to the backyard and got much more than we expected. Mark recommended up-lights to accent the landscaping, which look great and illuminate the whole yard (just like he said they would). Also mounted an LED spotlight and installed outlets around the yard. Finally, placed a Ring Floodlight Cam over the garage, which has been great. Very professional and honest.

Mark just completed a large electric project at my house which my wife and I agree looks amazing. What we appreciated most from Mark was his help in planning the layout of our lights to give the room the best look. Well, it turned out great.
