Mariani Electric did all the wiring in our home in Mill Valley. The job included: Cat 5 cable throughout 7,000 square feet, 30 low-voltage transformers to power multiple cornice light locations, computer-controlled Lutron lighting system so that many switches could be programmed to control anything we wanted anywhere on the property, hundreds of recessed lights, 4 furnaces in the main house and 1 in the guest cottage, cabling for a digital telephone system, a 45 KW gas-powered electric generator to power the house when power is lost in winter storms and all the wiring for 6 bedrooms, 2 dining rooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 living rooms and the cottage. It all worked great and we were delighted. Still are.

We would not recommend Mariani Electric. Mariani Electric did the complete installation in our new house in Marin. Unfortunately, almost all facets of the job created issues for us, including creating a safety hazard for our family:
1) Many switches were incorrectly linked and so switches meant to control certain set of lights control other lights and vice versa.
2) Two important pieces of equipment in the house do not function at all and bunch of outlets have no power or create hazard (sparks, buzzing).
3) Most importanlty, the fire alarm system was installed incorreclty -- at first it would go off for hours for no reason several times a month. It got to a point where we had to call firefighters, who confirmed that the system was incorrectly wired.
