What began as a seasonal position turned into a lifelong career in the electrical industry over 38 years. I completed my high school education on a Friday in June 1980, and kicked off my work life just two days later in San Francisco's SOMA area as an apprentice electrician. Aiming to become a professional Electrical Engineer, I soon faced challenges so dropped out of college and continued in the field. Currently, I continue to work and take pride in what I do. Both of my sons work in skilled trades, one as a carpenter, the other as an electrician.
