What was initially a summer gig turned into a lifelong career in the electrical field spanning nearly four decades. I completed my high school education in June 1980 on a Friday, after that began my career just two days later in the SOMA neighborhood of San Francisco as an electrical apprentice. Hoping to study and become an engineer in electrical systems, I quickly realized and I decided to leave school and continued in the field. Today, I continue to work and truly enjoy my work. My two sons have chosen careers in the trades, one is a carpenter, the other as an electrician.
