What began as a seasonal position evolved into a journey in the electrical field over nearly four decades. I finished high school in June 1980 on a Friday, then kicked off my work life just two days later in the SOMA neighborhood of San Francisco as an apprentice electrician. Intending to pursue a career as an engineer in electrical systems, I encountered difficulties and I left college and continued in the field. Currently, I remain engaged in my work and find great satisfaction. My two sons work in skilled trades, one as a carpenter, and the other is in electrical work.
