I'm not one to write reviews on Yelp!, mainly because I always forget. However I couldn't pass up an opportunity to comment on Marcelo Electric. I live in Castro Valley and was told about this company through my dad. Roland is seriously the best! There is no better electrician in the area. Extremely professional, reasonable pricing, and always there when you need him.

He's done work on my condo three times thus far and never disappoints. Thanks to Yelp! my dad found him and we will never try another electrician again. Marcelo electric it is!

I had electrical problem that I talked to several people and Lowe's electrician. All have no conclusion that I decided to look up yelp.com and came across Marcelo Electric. I called and talked to Roland. He is very patient to listen to my issue and explained couple times for the cause and suggestion. I got the problem fixed without having the electrician to come in. I'm happy and very appreciate Roland's advise and decided to write the review. Definitely is a nice guy

Having used Roland for a number of jobs I felt I needed to update my first rating. He is the absolute best. There is no one better, end of story. No job is too small. He works with purpose and his great prices are matched only by his great personality. You can easily hire some high end, big named electrical company but I think you're doing yourself an injustice when you have someone like Roland at your disposal. Try Marcelo Electric and I think you'll be glad you read this review..

Roland and his team did a great job installing a new meter panel. Roland was responsive and prompt with replies. He and his team showed up on time and diligently finished their work. They cleaned up everything and were professional with their work. Highly recommended Roland for any electrical needs.

We needed two ceiling fans installed and I called several (almost 12) certified electricians in the neighborhood (Fremont,CA). Roland, who owns Marcelo electric gave me the cheapest quote and had excellent reviews on Yelp. Decided to go with Roland and scheduled an appointment at 8AM in the morning. Roland showed up with his son and nephew for the install and they arrived on time. Started out the work almost immediately and got done installing both fans in 2.5 hours (there was no pre-existing wiring present). They were very professional, made just two holes in the ceiling and cleaned up after their work. Our house looked like no work had been done - it was that clean!

I highly recommend Roland's team for any electrical work and plan on using him in the future.

We got our recessed lighting and bathroom ventilation unit installed by Roland and Sal. They came before time, knew exactly what they were doing (did an amazing job at it), and cleaned up before they left (we didn't even need to vacuum).

The prices were very reasonable and I'd highly recommend them for any electrical job. Both Roland and Sal are very professional and friendly. I'd call them again if ever I need to.
