Marc started a job, determined he lacked the carpentry skills to complete it, left for a month on vacation with the status of the job uncertain, and stopped replying to my attempts to contact him. I was left with a $700 part that I'd ordered at his behest.

He's a nice guy, and if he sticks to his skill set he may be fine, but this was a terribly disappointing interaction. He should have never accepted the job, or he should have made certain that the part I ordered would be easy for him to install.
