Victor and his helper Anthony did a wonderful job replacing electric outlets and light switches and covers in two separate rooms. They were efficient and thorough. Victor even cut and fit a light switch cover that did not otherwise fit the space. He did that without my even asking. And they checked before coming to be sure I had the parts I needed.
This is the second time I have used Malco Electric and once again they went out of their way to help and fix what I needed. Thanks Malco -

This review is for great customer service without a sale. Shari ANSWERED the phone when I called. She put me through to Greg to try to troubleshoot. They did everything they could and put me on a work-in list when we couldn't fix it on the phone. They were positively delightful. We will call them the next time we need help.

He provided great/friendly customer service, completed the job quickly, and even gave me a recommendation on how to remedy my flickering lights on my chandelier. Great job by Randy, Barry and their team in replacing our 1960s Federal Electric breaker boxes. Randy gave a fast, friendly, and accurate estimate and organized the job. Even when things got complicated by the Corona outbreak, he communicated and broke the job into two separate jobs to maximize safety and efficiency. On the big day of the exterior switch out, his team was ready and able to complete the job quicker than we expected. Inspected and certified, we are good to go. Malco is our new go to electricians!

I evaluated and received a number of quotes from several electricians in the Austin area before deciding on Malco Electric, which Ended up being the best decision ever! Cody and his team were responsive, on time, worked efficiently and provided great pricing. Jimmie was also super responsive to my questions about their service and they were all honest and down to earth.

Initially, I was very nervous about who was going to install my very large, heavy, glass chandelier that I spent several thousand dollars on and took months before it was delivered. When the chandelier finally arrived in came in a million pieces and I was concerned who was going to be able to put it together. Cody and his team worked together and successfully assembled/installed the chandelier within 3 hours and it turned out beautifully! We were contacted by Austin Energy to hire an electrician to work on our meter, as it wasn't working properly and we had 14 days to fix the issue. Malco Electric worked with us to quickly send electricians to our house and look at the issue. When it was discovered that Austin Energy would need to also be dispatched and power to our house turned off, Malco Electric showed up twice to wait for Austin Energy. Today, for the third day in a row, they showed up early, called Austin Energy, fixed the issue very quickly and we were pleasantly surprised when they did not charge us for the other two times their electricians came to wait and Austin Energy did not show. We are so grateful to have this issue fixed quickly and easily. Thank you to Jimmie and Greg for all of their help and patience helping us resolve our issue. Will be using Malco Electric again!

Needed some electrical help on short notice and called Malco. The lady who answered the phone was SUPER nice, asked a few questions, and then she put Cody on - AWESOME DUDE! Diagnosed the issue over the phone, then called one of his guys in the field, Victor, who was headed home for the day but turned around to head to my place. Victor was terrific - super kind AND knowledgeable...he took the time to really explain things to me. He fixed the problem very quickly. Phenomenal experience all the way around. Needles to say: Malco will be my go-to electricians from now on!

Called Malco because we were having some issues with tripped outlets. Our house is older and we knew we needed some electrical work done. They sent Cody and he was fantastic. He checked everything and gave us multiple options of how to get the work done. Once agreed, he showed up on time and he came in even a little under the original quote! His work was great and ai will definitely be calling them if we need electrical work in the future!
